I feel like the luckiest man alive. I was here at this show, and also the "after show" late night the night before. Both were phenomenal, but with completely different vibes.

They really hit their stride about 30 minutes into their set. If you haven't already heard it, *"Dice"* starts at 38:57 in this same video. It's a bass-heavy song with a great riff. The after that is *"Hate?"* at 42:55. Saiki wrote the lyrics to express her feelings about infidelity. It was already a banger before they added an extra bass/drum/guitar section. I _highly_ *_highly_* *_HIGHLY_* recommend it. It's superb. It ends at 47:46

😂 I can’t tell you how much fun it is to hear “I was not expecting THAT!” from reactors. It’s like sharing my favorite Christmas present with a friend. MISA, the bassist, essentially solos for entire songs. Band Maid features her a lot in several songs. With her 5-string Black Cloud, she plays finger-style, pick and slap. The switches between pick and slap within a nanosecond, like a guitarist would. I suggest “DICE” official music video next. It’s my favorite bass solo handoff to guitar solo they do. Enjoy the ride!

You really should do the song Hate? from this performance.

I would even suggest starting with Dice then lead into Hate? as they actually put them together into basically one long song. I have to say this performace of Hate? has to be one if not their best new live performance. They were by far and away the best rock band on Day 2.

@@ichichu I wholeheartedly agree. I think they could've taken the stage with them, because they owned it.

Agree wholeheartedly. They really hit their stride, with MISA thundering along on bass, Mincho going all crazy-eyes, Akane shoveling coal into the firebox... man oh man it was hot!

It was pretty audacious for them to open their set with an instrumental but it looks like people loved it. The crowd grew quite a bit within the first few songs. They pulled a LOT of people in.

I saw them open Aftershock with this song. It gets attention, and suddenly half the festival starts to move towards their stage.

Misa is a master musician. Her personality keeps it hidden, but musicians know she's legit.

This song takes a certain amount of energy to play. On a recent tour of the U.S. it was going to be the last song in the last city of the tour and Kanami was too exhausted to play it. It was there in Chicago. Very clever of them to making it the opener this time.

I was so happy when they played it the Park West Okyuji. We missed it last time. But this time they gave us more then we expected. I agree opening with From Now On gives them a chance for Miku's shock and awe moment. They come out all cute, don't say a word, and immediately start shredding. Perfect way to show what they are capable of, and then comes Saiki. Then queen emerges and proceeds to announce their world Domination to the masters and princesses. Very clever. ぽ

Yep, also on the biggest festival stages these 5 young ladies in maid costumes know how to rock and impress. 🔥🤘🏻 _____________________ 「 _"Our rock never dies ever. Forever!"_ 」 - from *BAND-MAID* - 'Manners' 🎶🕊

Great song but maybe should picked a song with the vocalist. The suggestion for hate from same show would be good.
