I joined the cult between the releases of Just Bring It and World Domination albums. I confess it's only more recently that I started to listen to "Just Bring It'" as an entity. It is one hell of an album! This many great tracks would be sprinkled over 3 albums of a mortal band. And IMHO this is one of the best tracks on the album.

This is the one band maid song I have listened to the most. YOLO remains my favorite live song to listen to, especially the lyrics.

Yolo is one of my very favorite NAND-MAID songs. Saiki’s vocals are wonderful. They also released a instrumental version worth checking out.

Regarding Saiki's "infamous" teeth, in many East Asian (Japan) and south-east Asian cultures, such teeth are considered a beauty mark, or a 'kawaii' characteristic in girls. So it's quite normal for them, and quite a lot of girls with such teeth opt to not go for dental correction.

Interesting point. Now let me add my 2 cents. Stereo started with 4 track. No mixing board, no computers and not even monitors for the musicians to hear clearly what they were playing. This is why, initially mono was far superior to early stereo. With early stereo if you turned the balance to the far right or left you would hear the vocals on one side and the music on the other. Wearing headphones if the singing stopped one earphone went silent. If you put your stereo speakers far away and you were equidistant from both speakers it was OK but having one ear go silent or not standing right between the speakers and the music suffered. You got around that with the wall of sound from Specter. It was two track mono but with microphones placed at the right places so the sound remained full. Around 67 mixing boards made their appearance and stereo took off. I heard it first on the first Jimi Hendrix album. A note or chord on guitar would start in your left ear and as it lessened there it got louder in the right making you feel like the music was driving straight thru your head. The effect was startling at the time. With the end of vacuum tubes and the advent of 16, 64, and 128 track recording your layering became infinite. An album like Paul McCartney's first solo album in which he plays all instruments and all vocals could not have been done back in the day. Band-Maid tries to recapture some of that first nascent technology that characterized 70-80 music. I cannot say categorically that is the case but if not it is a heck of a coincidence. My 2 cents. Sacramento loves Band-Maid. Great message in Yolo.

If you love Yolo, check out Matchless Gum...To my ear, it's a slower tempo take on Yolo...both great songs that prove that Band Maid could set a Tokyo phone book to music and it would get million hits on YT !

@@TomClark-Futoura I've only been a Maidiac for about a year... Andrew Rooney posted a reaction video on Akane's work on Freedom-live. I clicked on it and the rest is history ! I'm so far down the rabbit hole, an excavator might not help me...If southeast Michigan has any Maidiacs, they are hidden pretty well. I don't think there's a lot of fondness for Japanese culture in this union heavy area.

@@frankandre4385 Interesting, Frank. I've always wondered how much negative impact being women, Japanese, wearing maid outfits, and playing in the rock music genre has to do with keeping them one of the best kept secrets on the planet. Apparently in some areas, quite a lot. Sad! BTW -- I've been down the Band-Maid Pigeonhole Po! 🕊for a long time and Frankly (pun intended) I rather like it down here. Please don't take me out. There's another album coming! 🤣

@@TomClark-Futoura Thanks for the quick response,Tom! The Maids are VERY intelligent and I imagine they are under no illusion about their American fans vs their potential American fans. IMO Japanese sensibilities are decidedly different than American. Their true Maidiacs, wherever they are,are fiercely loyal and very protective of their Maids. The casual American observer may be uncomfortably condescending and dismissive to Band Maid. I hope I'm wrong...They deserve MUCH better. Could you possibly imagine a Saturday night in New York, this Fall...The Maids perform on SNL and the country responds like it's watching The Beatles on Ed Sullivan in 1964 ? At one time I could see it. I'm not so sure about it in this time in our country. People seem to always be looking for a reason to hate rather than embrace. I'm not prescient, but Band Maid has what it takes, musically and in personality to effect a sincere change in the hearts of many people. The haters are gonna hate, regardless...as for the rest of us...Band Maid is an elixir we didn't know we needed. It's side effects are excessive smiling and joyful positivity. Have we seen the best they have to offer ? Have they already produced their opus...their Stairway to Heaven ? I hope not. I'll be there to revel in their accomplishments ! Thanks for your time !

@@thedocofrock1890 You're right Doc. Even tho i'm English, every time i hear "Ooparts" it reminds me of music played at the start of American teen movies where the bell goes in high school & the students (who all live in gorgeousville) exit the school for spring break. And probably get killed in droves later on depending what genre you're watching :)

I totally disagree with you guys, this song is better written and much better produce than Unseen World, that usually is overproduced and too compressed in the mix.😕
