No other Military Band has the panache, the sound and the style that the Band of HM Royal Marines can produce. Well Done you guys.

Yes, they are great, no doubt. But, watch this out of interest, the same piece: Wellington March, performed by a high school marching band in Malaysia. Check them out: Nan Hwa Marching Band - here's the youtube link: kzitem.info/news/bejne/qmev3aF-q3yErH4

All the British military guards bands are good but the marines must have the finest music instructor's because their music is the rolls Royce of military bands

Amazing, classy recording of an amazing, classy piece of music played with panache - but by what kind of blessing could a person be in a position to witness something of this huge quality just by chance? The streets are largely empty, yet the few passers-by are lucky enough to experience this total and utter free-of-charge joy, and march alongside for a yard or two if they so wish. Guess that's why I love London...

They march out, past the church of St. Lawrence Jewry. A plaque, on the wall states (I haven't got it, verbatim), "The damage to this church, in 1940, was as a result of action by the King's enemies..."!

Does anyone know the name of the march they are playing?

I got it, the march is “Wellington” by Wilhelm Zahle played superbly by the RM Band Collingwood. That’s right, let the American dangle. I thought the title of the video might have been an obscure geographic reference.

@@marthabakry7353 it's actually a march I myself have only known about for a few months and I was brought up on British Army music. Isnt it a great one though?

Pretty sharp, This uniforms are very nice looking, much better than the classic bear hat. Name of the song anyone ? Awesome band anyway.
