To those who disapprove, please realise that the armed forces are now inclusive. Not so in past World Wars and other conflicts when service men and women were forced to hide their sexuality, or be thrown out, or even worse jailed for what is now known and proven to be an accident of birth. Their contribution to society is no less than your own. It is no accident that due to their continued contribution of service over many generations that you and your families live in a safe and inclusive environment. Not so those living under more extreme regimes.

@ 7:40 Where was the Met escort ? That "photo op" was inappropriate. It's stuff like that which can be cause for HM Armed Forces bands to no longer participate in activities such as this. The U.S. Armed Forces would not participate in ANY special interest parade or event. As a veteran I support that position. Regardless of the feelings or ideals of individual members of the armed forces, the military as a whole, for the purpose of proper military discipline, must be non partisan, non supportive of any special interest group or organization.
