In this vlog, come along as I explore Bayana in Rajasthan! I recently discovered a hidden gem called Band Baretha National Park, which is full of stunning natural beauty. Nearby, there’s a lovely place to stay-the Band Baretha Eco Resort, and that’s where I headed for my trip.
Although it was technically off-season (people usually visit during the monsoons or winter), I was in the mood to write and needed a peaceful, serene spot to work on my story. Bayana seemed like the perfect getaway.
My journey started in Jaipur, where I took a train to Bayana, a scenic 6-hour trip. Thankfully, Band Baretha Eco Resort offers a pick-up and drop-off service, so when I arrived at the station, the car was already waiting for me. The drive to the resort was about 40 minutes, as it’s situated 12-13 km from the city. As soon as I arrived, I could feel the tranquility-surrounded by greenery, with a hillock in the backdrop that offers breathtaking views.
I spent my first day relaxing at the resort and making progress on my writing. The following morning, the resort staff had arranged a safari for me to explore Bandh Baretha and the surrounding area. Our first stop was Bandh Baretha National Park, where I found a hidden treasure: a stunning waterfall. I was so captivated by it that I spent some time just soaking it all in and snapping photos.
After that, we set off for Kishan Mahal, but unfortunately, the road was blocked due to waterlogging, so I couldn’t visit it. However, we quickly shifted gears and headed to the Band Baretha Dam-a must-see for anyone visiting the area. After spending some peaceful moments there, it was time to head back to the resort for lunch.
Following a nice, long rest, I hopped back in the safari van and went to Bayana Fort, an ancient structure with a history dating back nearly 2,000 years. Located on Mana Pahadi, a hill on the outskirts of the city, the fort was stunning. Though I only had an hour before sunset, I made the most of it and explored as much as I could.
Now, it's time for you to experience this journey for yourself! Watch the full Band Baretha Safari vlog-after all, visuals speak louder than words!
