Looked all over KZitem for a nice, simple, functional bandsaw sled. Yours seems the most efficient. Going to the garage to start building in. Thanks.

Brilliant. Just brilliant. You come up with some of the neatest things online, Jack. I still don't know how you manage so much with your tablesaw so close to the wall though. That would drive me up a tree. Heh. Cheers!

That's brilliantly simple. I wil be copying this for cutting pen blanks because I do a run of about 50-60 pens at a time so this would save a lot of time. Thank you. Best Wishes, Brendan.

Thanks for that interesting video. Jack I know I'm very slow on the uptake but I have been cutting small pieces with a mitre gauge and fence combination with equal success. So perhaps I'm missing something here that can be done with your jig that cannot be done with these standard accessories.

Very nice sled be careful as to when you epoxy the nuts on that you don't mis-align your degrees. I would just put some thin CA on the threads to stiffen them up.

I never thought that someone could turn one of the safest saws in the shop into the most dangerous ... scary, scary, scary. Adding a poly-carbonate shield of some sort would help a lot. Jack, you and I both suffer from arthritis which makes a shield even more necessary. To all you newbies watching this video, be sure to add a shield if you value the tips of your fingers. ... practice safety above all else when designing jigs for our hobby ... just a suggestion, meant in a very positive way. Rob

Hi JackThis video is great and just what I'm hoping to make. Please can you tell me, for the base have you used 1/2" birch plywood or 3/4" birch plywood. I'm a person with hearing difficulties and find hearing speech is sometimes hard. Watching your video I can see and understand what sizes are.Best wishesNorman for the UK.
