@LongLiveTrueFreedom

It would be. Sadly, although killer Croc is still hell of a powerful metahuman, and in many comics and games they are equal in size, Bane is still a lot more powerful in every aspect. Killer Croc has super strength, but it is locked at around 2-5 tons (depending on the interpretation) while Bane, when using venom, can easily lift 10 tons. Aside from that clear difference in strength, killer Croc has absolutely no martial arts training, he is depending on his brute strength and animal instincts rathar than brains, while Bane in most interpretations has a genius level intellect, and in every single interpretation he is a master martial artist, with a lot of practical expirience in wrestling, boxing, kickboxing and judo.

As a long time Bane fan, I was quite satisfied with TDKR's depiction of him. True, his appearance is drastically altered, and his origins are different. But, if we ignore the aesthetics, and look at the actual character, TDKR is one of the most faithful non-comic adaptations of Bane. Intelligent, sadistic, and seemingly unstoppable. This is what Bane is at his core, and that's what TDKR conveyed. Everything else, the costume, the Venom, are just extra details.

In a way they are. In Arkham Asylum, Batman finds out that their molecular structures are similar but TITAN lacks the storage tank that Bane requires for his Venom. That right there is bullshit. On a previous episode called "Sideshow" Killer Croc tore a goddamn tree off the ground after getting a lot of punishment. They never display Bane's strength on this episode, so this is just the writers saying "this brute is stronger than the previous brute, who was actually the better character, but we don't care". HunchbackEntertainment Lol how does that matter? He was still badass. Scarecrow was a "bitch" too, of Ras Al Ghul. Two Face was a "bitch" of Joker. Catwoman was a "bitch" of Bane. There were lots of lots of conspiracies and influences that villains had towards one another in Nolan movies, and none of that ever bothered anyone. So why are you suddenly bothered with Bane? Also, of all these colligations, this is probably the only one that actually happened in canon. In comics Bane DID have an affair with Talia and was working for her, and Talia was always her fathers toy. So in the end, out of all these affairs and influences that villains had for each other, this particular one is also the one that you should be least uncomfortable with. I don't think that Talia's influence mattered in the slightest. Bane was a hardcore badass villain and just the fact that he wasn't working alone doesn't mean much to me. Talia was in there at the end to basically complete the circle of Nolan's story. In the end it all begun with Ras Al Ghul and his ultimate plan to destroy Gotham, and ended with him and his plan again, which is a clever way to transcend a comic book fact of Ras Al Ghul's immortality into a realistic movie . Since Ras Al Ghul is Batman's greatest villain (at times he was a villain even for entire justice league, and Batman many times reffered to him in comics as being more dangerous than Joker and Lex Luthor combined) I think that it was a very cool way to tell the Batman's story.

***** well I can see your point with the Joker, Nolan's Joker wasn't the Joker at all, he was a completely different character from the Joker in the comics, but I wouldn't say that he sucked. He was still a very entertaining villain with much to contribute. He just wasn't Jack Napier with bleached skin and goofy acid flower, he was more of a scarred, psychopathic maniac who wanted chaos more than anything really. Nolan introduced Batman and his villains in a completely different way, but it was a very smart and clever interpretations. Even DC comics begun to learn from Nolan, after Batman Begins they actually really changed the goofy, blue/grey/yellow spandex outfit of canon Batman into a badass, black ninja hi-tech armour, from Nolan's version. Some of Nolan's ideas were a lot better then original ones. No disrespect for canon DC universe of course, but Nolan is a very clever writter, and some of his ideas for DK trilogy really changed people's perspective on Batman.

***** Joker in the animated series was nothing like the joker from the comics. Joker from the comics was an actual psychopath, a mass murderer with absolutely no goal to his existance other then absolute chaos. Comic book Joker was extreamly brutal, he murdered every person that he layed his hands upon. Noone knew his personality or past, in "killing joke" Joker even addmits that he doesn't know his own past. Joker from comics was deformed and scary, he had terryfying scarrs for a smile and was absolutely scary, not funny one tiny bit. Animated series Joker did not murder a single person in the ENTIRE SHOW. Only in the Mask of the Phantasm movie that wasn't even a part of the show, Joker murdered a SINGLE person for the first time. His goal was not to murder people in a chaotic, dramatic and funny way, his goal was as ridiculous as "making Batman laugh" or something like that, he was throwing puns around and all he wanted was for people to laugh at him. He wasn't even scary, he was just funny. In the show Joker's personality and life from before he was the Joker is well known - everyone knows he was Jack Napier, we can find hints about that all over the show. It's like a childish, immature parody of the real Joker. Maybe Nolan skipped the part about Joker's bleached skin and made him a guy wearing makeup, but he certainly got a lot closer to the comic book interpretation of this character. His Joker is pure chaos just like in the comics. He exists to spread chaos, making dark, brutal jokes along the way, cutting peoples faces into smiles as he murders them in dozens. THIS is Joker. Scary, terryfying psychopath who fills entire graveyeards for absolutely no reason. It's the villain you are afraid of the moment he enters the screen. Nolan's Joker also had a misterious past, he was spreading the different tales about his scars to every person in the movie, and there was no trace of his past self. The Nolan's Joker felt like the Joker from the comics. The animated Joker was just fun to watch. Nolan's adaptation was brilliant in it's ability to transfer fantasy into reality. Every magical like element of Batman comics was given it's notice in Nolan realistic universe. Bane's ridiculous venom changes into aneasthetic, that also makes him a better fighter as he doesn't feel any pain, but makes for a much better plot device then venom that literally made Bane grow in size - which is ridiculous. Ras Al Ghul's means to remain immortal were no longer literal, his league and his methods were immortal, as he always had someone to follow the steps of league of shadows and the memory of his actions hounter Bruce in Bane, and Talia long after he was dead - which is a much better and more relatable then having a magical lazarus pit that is simply a plot device to keep comic book characters coming back. Joker was no longer some chemical experiment gone wrong, he just had a makeup and was crazy because... well, because he was crazy. Having a psychopath be a mysterious is a lot better then having him go through some random chemical jar, supposedly making all kinds of weirds effects on him. The way I see it, Nolan took already interesting DC characters and brought them to a whole new level by changing their magical attributes into brilliant character traits. That way not just comic book fans could enjoy the movies, but the whole world. This is something Marvel could never achieve. Not many people can relate to a tale with magical god like aliens and stuff like that, only people who love comics and fantasy will like it. Nolan's Batman was a hit on a global scale because it was both a superhero flick, and just a good detective movie on it's own. Brilliant. Nolan is a genius.

***** Nolan intent with his films were to make his interpretation of Batman not copy the comics or the animated series ad verbatum (no comic book movie series has ever done that)

Actually, that was likely because Croc's arms were probably still mending at that point from when a venom-pumped Bane broke them weeks earlier. In the rematch, Croc had just crushed Bane's venom controls a few minutes prior to the second "breaking", so Bane may have still had SOME residual venom in his system.

Lets actually have a discussion about this. Who would win Killer Croc or Bane? Personally I think Bane due to his fighting capabilities and how he fights strategically, but I think Croc will make Bane work for it. Saltwater crocodiles-slammed their jaws shut with 3,700 pounds per square inch (psi), or 16,460 newtons, of bite force. So imagine a saltwater crocodile but like 5 or 10 times bigger. Bane will win but he losing an arm in the process or at least he definitely not leaving the fight unscathed.
