The Bang & Olufsen MX7000 is in my opinion one of the best choices of TV for retrogaming and of all the B&O TV models. Not just for the great picture, but also the spectacular sound quality combined with the loudspeakers that gives you all what you need for a perfect gaming experience. Something which have been wished for whilst growing up, but perhaps the appreciation wouldn't been the same as now. Although we had a Sony Trinitron that was like the next best or.. yeah meh. Hi all Trinitron fanboys ;) Just kidding, from my experience it's a really good retrogaming tv. If i get a hold of one i'll be sure to make a comparison video. Just to be clear, I'm talking TV's and not RGB Monitors, wich would probably give you the best image output, i do not own a set - yet! So, for now i can only share my experiences with the TV's i got until i get ahold of a RGB Monitor.
The AV9000 has the same Philips A66EAK220X02 tube as the MX7000, at least the two models i own. My other faulty MX7000 has a Philips A66EAK251X01, i guess there are different tube models with the same attributes. So, it has the same great picture (My AV9000 has some flickering and burn-ins, perhaps near it's end) but lacks the great built-in sound - unless you of course hook it up with it's dedicated stereo and set of speakers. I own the Stereo, that from what i understand only works with this TV Model, but sadly not the speakers. Still, the built-in speakers offer good enough sound to be enjoyed while gaming. Not to mention the cool appearance and style, and of course the cinema curtains that unveil the picture when turned on.
The Xbox Gen1 I'm using is a V1.4 i bought several years ago already modded with an Aladdin modchip. I've installed a 500GB PATA IDE HDD, various lightmods as you can see. I've fitted a Logitech Cordless Precision Controller receiver internally and a Xbox DVD Playback dongle.
Using XBMC and COINOPS 8 PREMIUM MASSIVE.

Thanks to RGB Rob for all his great CRT videos and his video about the MX8000 that made me get a MX7000 in the first place and the rest of my collection.
**UPDATE**
I've recently purchased a Bang & Olufsen MX8000 and I'm very happy to say that I have not found any artifacts or any image anomalies so far whilst testing out consoles like the GameCube or SNES NTSC. The picture is great, the sound is also more or less the same as the MX7000, perhaps the MX7000 might have a very slight edge, but that might just be my hearing memory failing me as I cannot for the moment do a side-by-side comparison because I have them in different locations.
