An idea that originated to serve the hungry souls from the ITBT industry, gave birth to Dose Adda. Started 4 years ago by Ramakrishna, the idea clicked slowly and became successful.
The hotel opens at around 3.30am and goes on till 6.30 or 7 am. It opens again at 7.30 pm and closes at 11.30pm. The sole intention is to serve food to hungry people at odd hours. Their menu is limited. They offer idli vade, masala dosa and rice baths. They prepare ghee masala dosa and is sold at Rs 50. Rice bath (like pulav, ghee rice) with vada is Rs 50. Without vada it's Rs 40. Two thatte idlis and vada costs Rs 50.
Even before the Dose Adda's food truck arrives, we can see many people waiting for the food. You get steaming hot idlies right out from the idli maker. Dosas are cooked using a generous amount of Nandini ghee. Tasty and spicy rice bath is sold in half and full too. There is a huge fan following for the red and green chutney.
The hotel is located opposite Devegowda Petrol Bunk at Banashankari. Kindly let us know your feedback once your visit Dose Adda.
