19:48 Do Aoyama San eat this raw? How do you like it? IMHO, it tastes better cooked; ข้าวผัดแหนมだったり, ไข่เจียวแหนมだったりです。 Since แหนม is made from pork, it can be very dangerous eating it raw. ☠️

I first found raw sausages at 7-Eleven and fell in love with them. I love the taste and texture. The ones I got from the food stall that day were also very good. I haven't had any stomach problems yet. I was also worried because it was raw pork, but I heard that Thai people eat it normally so I ate it. Do Thai people also worry when eating it? Do they always grill it before eating it?😱

@aotravel แหนม (Naem) = fermented pork, sour pork. Do Thais eat uncooked Naem? In my opinion, most Thais won't eat totally raw Naem. Popular Naem dishes would be Naem fried rice, Naem omelet to name a few. Raw pork might not cause food poisoning, but parasites in raw pork will get in and grow within our bodies. It's better safe than sorry, imho. I will stop by 7-11 an see if Naem sold at 7-11 is really raw. I think it might be steamed. I'll check and let you know soon.

Thank you! The comment display problem has been resolved. I found that if a comment is added to an existing comment, KZitem does not notify me of approval. So, I have no choice but to find out for myself. I wonder if the raw sausage at Seven-Eleven was pre-cooked?😱

@@aotravelI went to 7-11. They sell several brands of fermented pork sausages. I can not tell from their packaging if they are cooked. Some of them state that the sausages are treated with Gamma Irradiation. The process kills bacteria and other germs, but the sausages are still raw, I believe.

Thank you. I see! Do Thai people eat the raw sausages sold at 7-Eleven without heating them??
