Bangus valley is a less explored place in Kashmir. It is a hidden paradise.
It is a home for Bakarwals, they are shepherds and Nomads of Kashmir. Bakarwals travel across these mountains with their sheep, goats, cows and their horses.
Valley has breathtaking views of a meadow surrounded by dense coniferous forest of deodar and pine trees.
Bangus is located in north Kashmir, you can reach there from Handwara or Kupwara. The place has a steep and narrow trail of 4 Km which one can walk. The place is one day trek from Kupwara.
