I don't know how many people realized this, but something genius put in this game is that every song, every sound effect, every melody, everything was either in C or C Minor, making the transitions between songs as well as the song layering really smooth.

OK LISTEEENNNNNN Rareware belonged to Nintendo in the early to late 90's. Donkey Kong belongs to Nintendo but they got rare to develop the donkey kong games for them. Rareware itself created Conker's bad Fur Day, Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, and other games. Also, Nintendo owned the rights to make a goldeneye game but just had rareware develop it for them. Rare did not create the concept of Donkey Kong or Goldeneye because Nintendo created them. The Banjo Kazooie series and Conker's Bad Fur Day were created by Rareware themselves so when they were purchased by Microsoft, Banjo and Conker had to leave Nintendo do along with rareware. Now Nintendo had absolutely no say in whether to sell rareware or not. They only owned about 47% of the company. The company was also publicly traded so nintendo had absolutely no choice. Rare was purchased by Microsoft in 2002 and died because they haven't made a banjo Kazooie game since 2008, and that game wasn't even an actual Banjo Game. It felt so unfinished

@benoz11 The Chord Progression for the main melody is C, Am, Ab, C. The Ab's and Bb's, are accidentals that are but in to match the Ab chord. Grant Kirkhope tends to do that a lot. Particularly in Major Key songs, like this one, he'll have four chord progression start with a Major Chord with the root note of whatever key the song is in; then another on-key chord, such as Am in this case; then an off-key chord, in this case Ab; then back to the first chord.
