I’m thinking about this one but occasionally I can go down to a couple smaller docks and thinking about dock shooter. Most the time I’m in the banks or rocks.

The 7’6” is a decent dock shooter too. I’ve got buddies that love the 8’ for dock shooting. But, I definitely prefer the 6’6” for dock shooting.

Great Video on some great ACC Rods! I have a few of them including the 7’-6” that you are showing and the 8’ one with the super grip! I wouldn’t trade those for any other rods!

Some times is 4’ sometimes it’s 10”. Time of year, water temp and where the bait is at has a lot to do with where they are in water column.

Thinking about buying the 7’6 split grip rod. I would be throwing a 1/16 oz jig head with 4lb monofilament line. Would this rod cast a very long distance with this presentation? Looking for a crappie spinning rod to maximize casting distance. Thanks in advance.

I wanna buy the 6’6 ACC crappie stix but I throw a single 1/32 jig a lot, all I hear about these rods are the back bone and their on the stiffer side. That worries me when it comes to casting a small 1/32 jig at a distance……give me your honest opinion on that Jake?

I don’t think you’d have an issue. I throw a lot of single 32nd as well on the 7’6. I still get good distance.

I ran a 2500 size quantum accurist spinning reel with 4lb sufix on my 7’6” and had issues with the line getting hung up on the spool and there’s no burs or snags on the spool so I figured it was just the reel. I didn’t know if the 2500 size was just too big for throwing 1/32-1/16 oz jigs. I’ll give a 1000 size a go. Thanks for the input. Love the videos. Thanks again.
