I get that "Someone New" and "Mother Earth" aren't exactly your classic instant BANKS tunes, but man, her voice is really firing from all cylinders in these songs with acoustic guitars. So raw and honest, vulnerable yet strong at the very same time. Such a stark contrast to all these vocal effects used in pretty much all her other songs. I know that most of her fans probably wouldn't like this, but I'd absolutely adore an Album which goes a bit more into a reduced sound, stripped off these vocal effects, similar to the Tracks already mentioned plus "You Should Know Where I'm Coming From". There's just something very authentic about her delivery in these tracks, sounds unlike any other of these folky female artists, completely different acoustic colour.
