Thanks for your wonderful Video about Cuba. I´m German but in my heart I´m Cuban and every year I spend my holiday on Cuba. I know all this places in your video. Unfortunately I can´t understand your comments because it was not loud enough. I´m looking forward to seeing Cuba again. I´m flying to Cuba from the 11th of may till the 11th of june 2019 and this year I´m in Oriental Kuba. My best Cuban friend from Trinidad will accompanie me. Viva la Cubaaaaa

I am very glad you have sufficient internet speed to stream the video and watch it in Cuba. Cuba controls outside connections though high prices of internet, so I am also glad you were able to afford to watch the video

A very balanced report. While not overtly critical, it exposes the state's dog and pony SHOW. The toilet becomes a metaphor for the conditions Cubans must endure in this proletariat paradise. Brilliant.

Honestly a good video seen through the eyes of a week long tourist. You have stayed at the best hotels in Cuba and seen the cleanest of the clean areas in the country. It's all good and I commend you guys for promoting tourism there. The only thing I don't agree with is the comment that one area was dangerous at night. As a guy who spent a year and a half there, there are really no areas that are dangerous. The tour guides like to paint a rosy picture too so it's a little sugar coated but otherwise a nice memory for me. Thanks

Sheldon Saunders By dangerous, I did not mean dangerous in terms of crime. I meant dangerous from the crumbling infrastructure and large hidden in the dark sidewalk pot holes. Cuba is an incredibly safe country to visit.

I don't understand?....I lived in Cuba!,...my brother and his wife, still lives in Havana!..I know what's going there. It is a shame what the 'Castro brothers' did to Cuba, ..also the Cuban people are to blame. Don't waste your time, mine and others.

The city of Santa Clara does not have 800,000 people. If you are going to try and make something informative, try to get the facts straight. You are right about the heat and humidity.

I think you misunderstand what I am trying to do in my videos. I am giving a feeling for the journey as I experience it to record for others to watch in the future. Accuracy is not my goal. I always mispronounce the names of places, especially Spanish names. It provides an interest point for my watchers such as you. The population of the county that Santa Clara is in has a population of about 800,000. The city has a population of 250,000. All the information that I provide in the video comes from the local guides who probably got the two numbers confused. I do not have the time or the interest to fact check their information before I speak for the video.

18:59 So is the case about coops where the farmers DO NOT OWN THE LAND but they ASK!!!! for the land... when the Castro regime falls (it will fall sooner or later), bigger conglomerates from overseas will come in and buy up the entire Island for tourism and plantations and the farmers? well... they never owned the land remember?

How were you able to get a permit to travel to cuba? You must not be an American!
@LeslieKleinSeattle

It is most legal for Americans to go to Cuba. I did so on a People to People tour with a State Department Visa. But there are many other ways for Americans to legally go to Cuba as 50,000 or so who go annually will attest to.

People in the US are always interested in how well one can get by in English. In Cuba one can do quite well speaking no Spanish.
