I can't count the number of scenes in "Dallas" where she made me cry. Her acting was beyond incredible.

she was an underrated actress.....she was grateful when dallas came around b/c roles had all but dried up......I think if they had asked her to do a cameo for the Dallas finale she wld have agree.....dallas had been very good to her and allowed her the only emmy win of her career!!!

Does anyone know if they filmed any of her Broadway plays? Could anyone tell me what all the movies she was in as well? I of course loved her in Dallas.

Hitchcock famously hated actors and all the various pretentions around it. He simply needed them to do their job, not mine their inner lives or try to project an inner life onto the characters. Barbara understood that and followed his direction and he obviously appreciated that. LOL ;)
