Whoever facing oil explode problem - In low flame put the corn and immediately cover with a lid not completely cover 90 percent. After golden brown take out and put another batch.

Best option is, put enough salt while boiling corn itself instead of adding it later together with flours. Salt is the main reason why it splutters.

Tried this recipe...I used frozen corn. So it took a lot of rice powder...still couldn't get the coating like how you got. Still turned out good. Still a good one. Thank you.👍

You have to fry the corns on low flame .. not all corn will pop..you may cover the lid partially to continue frying

Don't add corns when oil is too hot , otherwise it will separate from the coating.add the corns when the oil is medium hot and fry in medium hot.

I like to bake corn in the oven at 400 for 40 minutes. Results in a very crispy texture and brings out the natural sugars in the kernels. Healthier than deep fried.

Instead of cooking the corn you can go for steaming so that it reduces the spluttering of corn in the oil and you should cook it in medium flame.

I tried a slightly different recipe. I marinated the kernels in chilli powder and salt for about 5 min before adding the starch or flour. It was much more delicious than the BBQ kernels.

To whosoever is making this- Guys she has mentioned to boil the corn for one minute , but i have boiled them very well for 2-3 mins, trust me , the corn won't pop , it did not for me, it was really good . Thank youuu for the recipe.

It came out tasty. I prepared it without corn Flour coz it was not available that time😛 so didn't got too crispy. But omg it was bursting into oil. My mother came nd continued frying covering it with lid.. was scary though 😱 she started scolding me, don't experiment these things. Bt if it ends well it goes well😛
