@@LOLA-zs5jh it's a warm up, not a workout. it definitely makes singing easier after from the first time on, but if you want to improve you'll have to look for workouts (this channel has a ton so you'll probably find what you need)
I like the beat that’s added to it. Makes it feel more musical

just to let you know, I would be classified as a contralto and I find these exercises extremely beneficial for my lower register. I'm having a hard time finding exercises that fit my vocal range. I've used this video for the last 2 days and I've already put it on my daily exercise routine list. Lol Thank you so much for creating these videos, my inner ear is not tuned enough yet to do it on my own....one day I will get there.

This, along with medication to reflux disease has really really both recovered my vocal chords (this problem lasted for years) and even strengthened and widened my range, as promised! It has made me way more consistent singer, as well as made me more durable like in the old days (when I used to sing heavy metal styles way off key, style and technique, but lasted for hours) while somewhat recently I could only do (any type of a) song and I was done for a week. I've been able to practise nuance in different styles, have confidence whenever I've opened my voice and cemented the way I hit notes, both by singing and by ear (and by guitar, lol), and have been able to enjoy metal mixed in there as well. The exercise feels brief but comprehensive. Clearly professionally done, and the beat is enjoyable and the instructions clear enough, even though slightly inconsistent. It's still easily understandable after you try it twice, and you remember it by heart by the third time. As long as you try it the first few times, you'll have no trouble enjoying and remembering each exercise in future, as you're supposed to use it daily or like I do, at the very least before any singing / talking days. 4.5/5!

Hi Ian, hope you are very well! Just wanted to say a big thank you for all the work you have put into this video, and how much I appreciate the well designed and balanced warm-up that you have put together here. I'm actually using four of your videos as my basis for vocal training at the moment, these being.... Quick Baritone Warm-up Quick Mixed-Voice Workout Quick Head-Voice Workout Extending Range Workout. I use them in the order above for a really good hour of exercises. My voice is much more relaxed, and my tendency to use too much throat muscle is easing right off. It's much more pleasant to sing in this way and it's also increased my vocal stamina and useful range by a tone! Great work Ian and please be aware of just how much you are really helping us singers with your videos, it's very much appreciated! Best regards, Ian Anthony.

Can anyone explain why I'm loosing my deep voice? I've been learning how to better utilize my falsetto which is supper exciting, but now I'm struggling to hit lower octaves...
@vitorassegoncalves1410
4 жыл бұрын
You're not losing your deep voice, what happens is, when you train high notes on a day your vocal cords tend to stretch, they go back to normal the next day, but everyone loses a little of their deep voices when singing high, one way to go around it is to train high notes and low notes on the same day, with the given time your cords will adapt, giving you the high notes without losing the low ones
