Sir, others have said it but I will repeat it: you should design knives for Bark River. :) Thank you for your dedication, excellence, and sharing with others.

Who else thinks that this is a aurora handle with a Canadian special blade ??

it is very well known fact , and Bark river has published many times that the design of the aurora was exactly that... the canadian special was a very successful blade but only comfortable for people with very specific size of hands.so they decided to create a version with a handle that was known to fit comfortably many sizes of hands.. and make a bushcrafting knife that would also excel in hunting tasks... so intead of choosig the bravo handle they chose the Aurora handle and that's how the tundra was born.. first it was the ambush tundra, and now it's just bark river tundra.

Always glad to see a new Wako video. Couldn't the extra thickness on the Tundra be due to the green liners? I think that without the liners it would have been thinner.

You are the reason i gave away my loved Fällkniven F1 and changed to a the BR Bushcrafter. I NEVER felt bad about this descision and love the Bushcrafter even more. Thank you for inspiring me and many other „Knife People“ out there. Greetings from Switzerland

This must be the first time I have seen someone to put an asymmetric grind on their outdoor knife - but it does make a lot if sense! I know asymmetric grinds on double bevel kitchen (Japanese) knives. Here the motivation appears to be similar.

By changing geometry of that blade, it’s clear how much of difference that truly makes concerning the thickness of those feather sticks. I need a lot more practice with my Shapton’s before trying this with a brand new Bark River blade. As it is, I should probably change my Username to ‘Unintended Bevel’ Hahahahaa!

Hello Wako san, in the Russian KZitem community there is one theme or challenge "one knife for entire life". What are your preferences from your experience about a hypothetically single knife for whole life for all tasks for you?

Hopefully Bark River Bushcrafter in High Scandi grind will do for me. It will come to me soon. This Tundra and the BushcrafterⅡare very good for fire preparation but a little too long for deer dressing.

I believe this kind of asymmetrical bevel geometries are not very good when it comes to batoning. However, for feather sticking they are geniously great. Please review Bahco 2449 and Kabar Becker BK62 Kephart if possible. I am in love with my 2449 these days but I don’t own a bk62.

Your geometry feathers beautifully. That knife is a beauty. I just purchased the Mini-Aurora in cpm-3v In black linen micarta. It's my first Bark River and it's a beauty as well. Good day sir

Wow, 5 minutes thinning out the convex and you can clearly see the difference feathering. Not biting in deep. Very skilled & knowledgeable on knives I must say

A very good jnife review, I really like the blade on that Tundra. The color you chose for the scales is very beautiful. Was thinking about Bravo 1 but maybe I may like Tundra better. Handle shape and ability to choke up close to blade making it very controllable. Beautiful edge you put on the knife you are a master of sharpening. Thumbs up.

More Tundra vids please! I picked up the Tundra from Ambush and really like it for hunting but found it a bit too big for bushcraft. Maybe giving it your asymmetric bevel will help. Any plans to get the Mini Tundra yet? Mine should be arriving any day now.

Hello knife person! Great to see you back again. It's strange how differently we perceive knife handles. I really don't like the darker of the 2 brown scales and I know you have a bit of a weakness for olive and bamboo which is not my cup of tea either. I always enjoy your videos, they are thoughtful, intelligent, knowledgeable and well presented. Thanks.

Hey Doc, which bullet do you prefer, the TTSX or the TSX? Have you tried any of the LRX bullets at all?
@virtuovice

I expect penetration from 168gr TSX and expansion from 150gr TTSX. Ballistics and accuracy are just a little better on the TTSX. I have never tried the LRX.
