Don't sweat the little things, as someone in the middle of a major barn restoration myself I would advise you to let go of some of the small stuff. If you plan to live in it that's one thing, but for a barn things like siding, maybe not so much. Good work and good job restoring the barn, look forward to part 2.

thanks for watching and points well taken, at the end of the day it will be used for storage/ possibly horses. Just watched your barn restoration video and very impressive. Cant wait to see how it turns out! Keep up the strong work!

Great repair on the rotted out sill beam, without removing walls.Inside floors are below grade, which is unorthodox.

Thanks brother that’s awesome, a carpenter from Norway and a country boy from small town Nebraska bullshiting about tools and what not. That’s pretty damn awesome. How are you liking that setup ?

@@AMAYERICAN haha. Yeah I think you’re right about the size.I’m mostly in remodeling so sometimes it’s a good thing when it’s smaller. But I also got the DB sack as well, and I think it helps a lot.

those truewerk bibs?! you like em? also, I believe you're using a form of "sistering" on those studs, never done it myself but would like to know more, especially horizontal joists. it was cool to find your channel, its pretty damn good, straight to the point with the right amount of explanation.

Thanks man good to hear from ya! Big tru werk fan all around. Bibs are awesome, almost too warm I would get t2s. You can actually move in them. Used to wear carhart and there’s no comparison. Channels a working progress but appreciate that. The first few i sistered wasn’t right, I ended up fixing the way I was doing later in the video. Main thing is to get full bearing from top plate to bottom plate. I just came up with a lap joint and construction adhesive. Heard you’re an electrician, that’s awesome man, good trade to be in for sure.
