WHAT A LEGEND , AS a kid in the 70s all I wanted was his autograph, I got more than that at oulton park , I ACTUALLY WENT INTO HIS CARAVAN! I was 12 years old remember it as if yesterday, now I am a fifty year old woman, and still got to catch my breath.Absolute legend !

Such a good man. I always thought that if there were someone who deserved all that glamour and fame in this world, that would be Barry.

One thing Barry did was he had time for his fans and if that meant him going home late he stayed that's why Barry was the fans man and still is today Still missing you baz

Bazza was a legend. They don't make sports stars like him any more - awesome talent, no respect for the rules, complete party animal. Maybe Rossi - possibly the only one from the modern era who's come close to Barry as someone with the same amount of charisma while still getting the job done (and yes I know Vale had more success). You're greatly missed Bazza, much respect.

As a kid, i remember seeing Sheeny at Oulton Park in the Transatlantic series, I think in '74 as he rode his bike from the paddock to the track in a huge cloud of smoke, blipping the throttle and moving through a mob of fans & girls swooning-funny how unique sights and sounds like that are still affecting what you do four decades later eh!!

0:52 Bryan Cranston - Walter White I have bought the Barry Sheene biography in english, considering my level , I'm going to put three months to decipher it. When I shall have finished, I shall buy that of Mike Hailwood, two very interesting men.

He was not even remotely in Hailwood's class. Just a glam boy in comparison.
