Coach, I haven’t played since I was 19 and had real trouble finding my load/coil again until watching your videos! After doing these drills for coil…I’ve noticed a dramatic increase in my swing speed, exit velo, and distance. Now, that’s dependent on how accurate Win Reality is on those measures 😂. Is it possible to notice a swing speed increase of 8 mph, exit velo increase of about 7-8 mph, and distance increase of 40-60 feet by coiling properly? Thank you for all your videos…it’s pure gold and you explain it in such an understandable style. I can’t wait until my son is of age so I can train him with your videos. Baseball genius!

Thanks for reaching out and for the kind words. Yes those numbers are achievable if you went from improper or no load to a proper load and in time swing!!!!

Great. Short and simple explanation. Love the channel. Was watching DR hitting and he recommended you on one of his videos. Y’all are both great at explaining so kids can understand. Will be implementing this at practice. Not only helps the kids but us coaches also. Thanks.

Quick question. When I was learning how to load properly, my coach was teaching me to “load my back heel” which automatically loads the rest of my hip. So after my stance, I would get my weight in my back heel for my load and then I would launch. My question is how affective is it to coil more than to just load my heel without much of a coil. Thanks!

Hard to load into the heel without coiling.. if you just sit back into your heel you really aren’t loaded and it could cause you to be off balance

Ok thank you. So would it be more affective to load in my heel with my hip coiling as well? I’ve watched some of your videos explaining the load and I’m trying to incorporate both the heel and the hip coiling.
