I’ve always wondered why no one put soap in the rinse bucket. It does help remove more of what you don’t want in your wash media. Obviously it’s not 100% but it can help.

Loved how you altered the two bucket method by adding soap to your rinse bucket. I eliminate the extra bucket and grit guards by using multiple wash media. Because microfiber holds dirt extremely well it concerns me to reintroduce it to the paint. But adding soap to your rinse bucket is a great idea. Great video, most people need to do things old school and stop going through the automatic scratch and swirl washes

You always see KZitem detailers use plain water in their 'rinse' buckets, but using soap in your 'rinse' bucket makes so much more sense it is almost genius! I noticed you used mitts instead of the Legacy Sponge. Was there a reason for not using the Legacy Sponge, or was it just a choice made in this particular case?

Good info, I am a foam rinse foam guy myself with 1 bucket and multiple mits. I can get around my vehicle normally with 3-4 mits without having to rinse out. If I need, I rinse the mit thoroughly before going back into the bucket. If I am using just a hose with no foam canon, I use my IK Pro 12+ to make foam 😀😀. I know that is not the "simple" way but a way to get foam on the panel. I spray rinseless on as a drying aid before drying normally too if I am not using it exclusively.

I’m coming from eastern Ontario, Canada. Being in a country setting ( lots of dirt roads) I still use the 2 bucket system. I find the vehicles are so encrusted with dirt, grit grime etc that even after doing a preform rinse there is still grit left behind. My way of being extra careful. I have a 3 year old truck with minimal scratches ( not from wash process just from being a truck). I find that my wash bucket at the end of the wash is still very clean. I usually can do my 3 vehicles with the same buckets. Thanks for great videos and great products.

Nick loves his suds! Always remember that suds doesn’t necessarily equal cleaning power. Looks good but looks can be deceiving. Depends on the quality of the product. Cleaning power plus great lubrication is the win win and really all you need. You don’t necessarily need suds for the product to be highly effective although it does offer some other benefits. Haven’t tried incredible suds but I’ve heard many good things about it. It looks like it might be a nice triple combo…suds, cleaning power and lubricity. Win, win and win. Would love to try it out. Out of abondance of caution I ended up throwing away my rinceless mix after washing a 3rd of the Jeep, water was brown. Used 3 mixes of rinceless wash to complete the wash.
