Thanks for taking me back to when times were so great with the greatest Dad in the world teaching us these skills. Making Swiss Seats tying off the ends with para cord innards. Knot tying, repelling, rock climbing using prusik knots with swiss seats. Map & Compass land orientation and basic to advance survival techniques. RIP SGM D.C. WEST 7th Group. I like the way he tied the bowline. Better than how it was taught to me when I was younger. Only later did I learn to tie it this way without the stupid rabbit and tree. Another favorite is tying it around your waist one handed that I love while the other end is held suspended, as in emergency rescue situations and you find yourself with only the use of one hand.

My man I have no idea how I haven’t found your channel until now. I’m Canadian and retired now, but your content is spot on. I remember my first day of training with a specialized unit and how drastically different it was from standard military training...anyways, your lectures here are spot and I would recommend to anyone serving in the Military or LEOs. FANTASTIC! Anyways I subbed man, please keep dropping the content.

Something I learned from training is if you hold the magazine so the bullets are facing you, you can load the mag in like less than 30 seconds. Fun times where we’d spend hours seeing who could be the fastest

Been loving the short clips, nice to see it all in one spot. I'll add this though: when soldering copper, heat the fitting. The heat draws the solder in, making sure your joint doesn't leak. I became a plumber after the Army. Keep it up, Mac.

My friend, you called it a "ripsaw" but used it to "crosscut". A ripsaw rips in line with the wood grain, and a crosscut saw cuts across the grain. You're still The Man.

Great video. Girth hitch, that's definitely basic dude stuff. If someone knows the girth hitch they should probably know the Prusik knot; great for detaining when used in a Bosun or in a loop for self-rescue.
