I really enjoyed this and I’m continuing to learn about my rosacea. Thanks! I’ve found soaking cotton pads in cold green tea can also be great for quick fix cooling during a flare up.

Could you share some ideas about cooling ingredients? Thanks for the video!

Hi! I'll do my best :) 1. Avene thermal water or any thermal water is very cooling and healing to mist on to face 2. Aloe is known to be cooling, I don't use products with aloe right now but they may help, like an aloe based serum 3. Herbs like marshmallow root and plantain are cooling, they're in the blissoma calm face cream I use 4. Some essential oils, like chamomile, are considered cooling if you use essential oils, I do not at this time. 5. Rose water and calendula hydrosols, like blissoma or evan healy, are cooling 6. SVR sensifine ar cream has a special ingredient that helps cool the skin 7. Spf, zinc oxide is considered cooling 8. Stay away from peppermint or menthol, which are cooling but not safe for sensitive skin. That's all I can think of for now but I'll add more if I remember, thanks for watching!

@@sensesensitivity3460 Thank you! That’s very thorough and helpful. Funny thing, my mom used to suggest me aloe when I was young, and we had it in our home, but I was lazy. And lately I’m hearing more and more about it for rosacea. Well, the severity of mine is also worse now, so I’m thinking about asking my parents to share with me some aloe to grow in my home and this time to use it.

Luv your videos! Couldn't agree more on the "they don't know flare ups!!" Having one now for trying a new moisturizer! Will probably last few days..ugh! Are you still using the bioderma micellar water? I noticed they've come out with a sensibio AR version for rosacea that's looks really good. Unfortunately I can't find where US has it available yet. Searching for a website that will ship to US

Thank you so much for this video. I have recently been diagnosed with mild erythematotelangiectatic rosacea in my 50s and so much of what you mentioned in your video is what I have been experiencing. My main triggers are skin products and environment, not food. My closet is full of lotions that didn't work for me😝 Just ordered Avene Thermal Spring Water, Avene Tolerance Extreme cream and the Avene RetrinAl 0.05%. My skin is behaving at the moment so I have decided to try this anti-aging retinoid. I will go very, very slow with it. I am also dealing with dry, hot air in my home. I have set up a humidifier in my bedroom and kitchen and this is helping quite a lot. What do you think of the Avene products? Avene retinaldehyde? Would love to hear you better. Would it be possible for you to get a better microphone? Take care and looking forward to your next video. Thank you.😀

Thanks for watching! I will get a mic set up to improve my audio :) Avene- I've tried lots and liked it all, all within the fragrance free sensitive skin lines. I'm going to try more of their new products soon. I don't have any experience with any retinol, I've actually heard Avene's is really good and more gentle, but not sure for rosacea. I'd ask your derm and/or email Avene. But I know many w rosacea can tolerate retinol once their skin is stable. It will be something I may look into in the future, but not while I have babies like I currently do. Also, the SVR Sensifine AR cream is very good for erythemotatelangiectatic redness and heat, not that you need another lotion! Finally, if you find yourself with many skin products you can't use you can always try to resell them on a site like mercari or eBay, or donate to a women's shelter, which I've done many times with good results. Take care!

Thank you so much for the video~ would you be willing to record videos with a microphone? Because the audio is usually super low~ I for sure react more to heat then to cold~ however I feel more comfortable in hot and warm environments. It's tough~ but skincare has been helpful ✨
