Thanks for the video,pls I need clarification on something it seems 24/25inches is standard for hip line when cutting for gowns, have been seeing that a lot,question 2 if my above question is No pls how do I get the hip line correctly in the absence of measuring or it can be measured 8/9inches down from the half length, sorry for the much question, thanks
@stylemebynancy
3 жыл бұрын
The hip line is usually 25” but its not a standard measurement because women have different shapes ( it is assumed that 26” is used for women with lower hips). How do you get the hip line correctly without measuring your client ? The position of the hip line varies for everyone but 8” down from the waist line is quiet standard. So its advisable to always take the accurate measurement for each client without assumptions to achieve a proper fitting without ammendment. Better still you can write out all the measurement you need on each page of an excercise book , so you dnt miss any essential measurement when writing down ur clients measurement. please feel free to see a tutorial on how to take accurate body measurement kzitem.info/news/bejne/s4psq4B6kXZegH4

Why do you use 15inches for the half length?Pls explain in details🙏
@stylemebynancy
3 жыл бұрын
The half length is the vertical measurement taken from the top of the shoulder down to where you took your round waist measurement . I used 15inches as the half length because thats the value i got after placing the tape at the top of my shoulder down to my round waist . You can also watch a practical tutorial on how to get the half length kzitem.info/news/bejne/s4psq4B6kXZegH4
