Overnight oats is basically “cooked” oatmeal that is prepared the night before. Instead of finding time to cook oatmeal in the busy morning schedule, overnight oats can be soaked with milk the night before and ready to eat in the morning. It is creamy, satisfying, healthy and delicious ~ a great breakfast or afternoon snack.

Ingredients
½ cup (45 g) old fashioned oats
1 tablespoon (10 g) chia seeds
¼ cup plain (60 ml) yogurt or Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon maple syrup/ honey (or any sweetener)
5 oz (150 ml) milk of your choice
Topping (fresh fruits/ granola/ nuts/ seeds etc.)
~ Combine all the ingredients. Stir, cover and store in the fridge for at least 6 hours or overnight until the texture becomes softer and creamier. Top with your favorite fruits and granola. Enjoy! ~
