Yeah, I'm gong to need it,@@zinteractive. I don't have a ton of experience in the 3D space, especially when it comes to modeling. What I'm creating isn't overly complicated, but my client is rapidly growing and they want a video that reflects that growth! Your videos are going to aid in that quest.

Hey.... First things first thank you so much for the videos I've learned a lot from them And i wanted to ask whether you're gonna do more substance painter tutorials? Like in depth tutorials

Does anyone know how to move in smaller increments? I use modeler in Vr only, and when I use the gizmo for more accurate positioning it can be hard to get the model exactly where you want it. When I snap it to grid sometime it will be too far from where I want it or it will over shoot it. I can’t seem to find a way to make your objects move slower for a more accurate placement

In Adobe Substance 3D Modeler, especially when working in VR, precise movement and placement can be challenging. Here are a few tips and tricks to help you move objects in smaller increments for more accurate positioning: 1. Grid Snapping Settings: Check if you can adjust the grid snapping settings to a finer resolution. This way, when you snap objects to the grid, you have more granular control over their placement. 2. Gizmo Sensitivity: Look for settings that allow you to adjust the sensitivity of the gizmo. Lower sensitivity can make it easier to move objects in smaller increments. 3. Use Numeric Input: If available, use numeric input for precise positioning. This can often be found in the properties panel or a similar interface where you can input exact coordinates. 4. Scale Down Movement: When moving objects, try scaling down your movements. Sometimes, using a lighter touch or moving more slowly in VR can help with finer adjustments. 5. Precision Mode: Check if there is a precision mode or a similar feature in Substance 3D Modeler that allows for finer control over movements. This mode might reduce the speed or increment of the movements for more accurate positioning. 6. Combination of Tools: Use a combination of tools and views. Switching between orthographic and perspective views or using different manipulation tools (translate, rotate, scale) can sometimes help achieve more precise placement.

the edge smoothness depends on the number of voxels, you can decrease or increase them.

@@zinteractive You didn't get me. Like having the same precise stroke along multiple edges. Using the smooth brush on the sharp edges is not that precise
