"Basic Tree Removal Job" ...you make it look easy...I have cut a few trees and some large bushes from my own property...THEY were basic tree removals...nothing anywhere ner the size of that one and I had to figure where to land them and it didn't always go to plan. But I (for some odd reason) like to watch how it's supposed tp be done. You folks make it look easier than it really is. I guess that's the difference between someone who knows what their doing and someone like me who only thinks he has some idea about putting a tree where he wants it to go. lol

Nice to see Douglasfirs being worked on that are grown to their proper proportions. People plant them as landscape trees here in upstate New York, and most of them have a hard time even growing to 50' or 60' tall. Too much needle cast disease around. We offer sprays for it, but doesn't do as much as you'd hope. Also like the fact that you guys don't haul your wood on the boom truck bed. They built bunks on ours to load. Sometimes it comes back filled right up to the boom. This past summer it spent more time broke down than it did in the field doing work. Too much stress on the equipment. Happy New Year and keep rocking through 2020!

Your tree videos are by the far best (sorry Reg). Not only do you make technical removals appear seamless, your ability to capture the process through film is outstanding. I have learned a lot from watching your videos over the years. I am grateful that someone with such a talent for tree work works as hard as you do to capture all the little nuances that accompany the type of work we do. You have obviously put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into your craft over the years and it shows; it's been great to watch how fast your company has grown in a such a short time. It's inspiring. For a while there I never thought I would see you use a crane...then you went out and bought one! :) Keep up the hard work!

Have a question. I remember when you got the 2511T it was wearing a stihl bar. I have mine set up that way after modifying the oil and tensioner holes. How do you like the Panther bar and where did you find it? I have had no luck yet finding a US supplier. Thank's and great video!

August, Is that a 12 or 14" bar you are running on the echo? I'm running the same saw and absolutely love it. It feels like 1/2 the weight of my 201. After I got mine ported and polished I went back to a 3/8" pitch 14" bar and I may be regretting it. The 1/4" pitch seems way smoother to me. Love the video man? Keep them coming.

At 8:40, your Panther 'scalpel' was pretty close to your harness safety loop. Does it have a steel cable core with a rope covering? Was very interesting to see this tree felled with rigging lines. Love all your videos though. My 43 year old son is a rope access technician, I asked him, "do you still go up trees with a chainsaw"? He said "No I supervise the younger guys". He does a lot of work for the railway companies. I am going to send him one of your shirts.
