This was sad, but informative. I'll make a pond in my back yard now.

I always loved newts. :) When I was a kid, I would rescue them from our swimming pool, where they would get in but couldn't climb back out because of the overhanging concrete walkway. Their little eyes were usually squinched shut from the chlorine, so I rinsed them off and took them back up the hill to the irrigation ditch that ran across our property. Once I stumbled upon a newt orgy... awkward!!!

My cat once got to a salamander and I noticed it was pawing at it's mouth and was slobbering. I immediately googled, "are salamanders toxic to cats" and rushed my cat to the sink and washed her mouth. She was fine after a few minutes as I saw she hadn't eaten the poor salamander. I hope my cat learned her lesson.

Very informative, I've been waiting for a new video for awhile! I've always wanted to create a natural pond here in Iowa, USA. Though I dont know the of theres any newt species here, I know several frogs toad and turtle species. My end result I'd want is a fully sustainable natural pond fed by underground springs.

Fantastic video. I would love to create a pond. But sadly I live in an area where that wouldn't work due to high temperatures in the summer. Plus it gets very dry also. I just love this channel.

Cool and very informative. I'm going to have to do some research on how to attract local newts now... desperately need something to control the mosquito population during the summer, and bats are a no-go.

@@NaturesTemper I'm also a Huge Animal Lover.. Your dog is so Beautiful.. As is the Wolfdog in your thumbnail... I always wanted a Wolfdog.. Now at 56 & 6 spine surgeries later, a wolfdog would be to much for me now.. I'm looking for another Dobermann.. Much easier to care for an Brilliantly Easy to Train.. I trained my last two, they understood sentences, over 350 word's, I also taught them sign language.. I learned German an taught them German.. I grew up with German Shepherd's. I've had 2 myself, but Dobermann's are my Heart 💖💖💖 Thank You for the Awesome Vids
