Of course as a newb i didn't have everything i needed but couldnt wait to try. I used copper and amethyst chips. Not perfect, but im pretty proud of myself. Thank you for helping me make something beautiful in my "me time" when the littles are sleeping. I appreciate your time.

Hi Katie. Please can you advise where in the UK I can purchase the wire. I used 18 gauge wire yesterday and I hammered it as advised but I think it was still too soft. I'm quite new to jewellery making. I usually buy from Amazon or Etsy but unsure what to search for. Thank you.

Would it be so difficult since you are seen in the United States and the UK,say them both , to say both sizes so we wouldn't have to look up to a chart afterwards, to just say them as you are giving out the tools sizes ?

Would it be so difficult to convert it yourself? I'm sure there are plenty of apps out their or even good old Google.. Other people seem to find it easy enough. Take care x

I havent come across a single American tutorial which states both sizes abut hey I'm already online, it's not so difficult to use google!

Why not just print out a chart from google for quick reference? That's what I've done
@SavageCharms

I just write the size on the spool of wire. I also jotted them down on a 3x5 card, and taped it to the inside of the lid to my wire box. I feel like the people who create these tutorial videos are already being very generous with their time creating them, why complain over something so minor?

What size gage are the wires?
@katieparkerjewellery7277

Hi, here’s the conversions for you. 1.25mm is 18 gauge in the US and 0.4mm is 26 gauge in the US.
@cricketannhill1038

Even another Lady from the U.K. says the mm size & then the gauge size for us from the United States. She has no problem with covering her people wanting to follow her designs. It wouldn't hurt you to do the same & it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you & God bless you.

16 & 26. 16 is the closest as there is not an exact conversion. I’m very sorry this has upset you so much.

There are several charts on youtube that give you the conversions. I just printed one out and popped it on the wall for quick reference.

Could you please tell me, at least , tell the gauge of the wire ?
@katieparkerjewellery7277

The wire gauge is mentioned and is written in the description. The frame wire is 1.25mm and the weaving wire is 0.9mm.

These are in U.K terms but you will be able to find the conversation on a web search 😊
