Jordan McCabe is not a basketball phenom . Check out Julian Newman. He has better skills than (the white kid) Jordan McCabe. When Jordan McCabe was asked what current NBA point guard is his favorite, he said (of all people) Steve Nash! That is a typical white boy answer. So...let me get this straight...old ass Steve Nash is a better point guard than...say Chris Paul of the LA Clippers?

if he get's size, sure he can go d1, but let me tell you, doesn't mattter how good you are at dribbling, if you're too small and don't have a shot, then you're just going to get rejected. seen it happened to this kid at my school, he put on some double crossover, to behind the back, and tried a turn around fader, got rejected by a 6'5 black kid who was guarding him. the moves were beautiful, just he didn't get anywhere against size. anyways, don't start talking prodigy and nba until high school.

Haha he's kinda cocky but thats good. He's not afraid to show off. He's confident in himself and he knows he can be the best. People who say cocky is a bad thing don't know what there talking about, granted they're not pleasant people to be around, they will go further in life because there not worried about what other people are thinking of them. He's as good as he is because he's confident, and cocky. I wish I was more cocky but I just don't have to confidence yet.

Great handles, and I found nothing cocky about this kid. He knows how to communicate -- a great skill to have at such an early age. He's not "all ball" and knows that the sport may NOT be the end-game of success. Players need to be the FULL package: "books & balls". He's well on his way to be successful in life -- with or without a basketball profession. I wish him the best.

Okay, lets analyze this. This kid is among the top 5% of basketball players his age. He works on his game everyday, and is way ahead of what it takes to get into even a Division 1 school. His work work has paid dividends for the moment, and he is invited to showcase himself on ESPN. Of course he is going to show confidence. He behavior has absolutely no similarities to Floyd Mayweather, Terrell Owens, Allen Iverson, etc.

@ReeveRuddock look dude he is 5"2 now I don't think anybody any the NBA that is that tall can dunk better yet the world and I think he was telling the truth when he said he could shoot about 25 out of 50 which is actually pretty good. Anyway I don't think UCLA made the wrong choice when they wanted him to play for them when he was in college and if he doesn't make the NBA he well excel in college and do great in studies because you can tell by his vocabulary he has a bright future ahead so I th

To all the haters, watch the friggin' video. Can he shoot? - Above 50% from 3. Can he penetrate the late? - Do you really have to ask that question? What 6th grader is going to stop him? Can he set up other people for scoring? - Averaging 6 assists a game. Can he do a pick and roll? - Really? Pick and roll? He spends 3 hours a day in the gym. It takes about 5 minutes to learn the pick and roll. What stupid remarks. This kid has mad skills - and he's in the 6th grade, not the NBA . . .yet.

i like it how he says jordan has WAY better handles than the nba players but in reality! it's not true! if your talking about 2 ball stationary DRILL handles then yes it is! but if your talking about a fundamently sound basketball game in TRANSITION then hell no! he's doesn't really show off his handles in a game either, if you want a legit IN GAME handle, it's damon harge, marquise walker, chris adams, etc! not this kid!

To back Joseph's post defending the fast break, boxing out, man on man d, slipping screens, and spacing all have NOTHING to do with the skill sets he has shown. I think to assume he HAS those skill sets might be short sighted. Finishing at the rim when he is 18 is not like finishing at the rim as an 11yr old.
@Fventura24

Very mature.. The kid is probably more mature than you.. To answer your statement the kid can shoot, play smart, pass, and keep his dribble alive. So how come CP3, rondo, Dwill, nash, or other point guards block shots? the kid is a point guard maybe you should watch some of his games before you try to talk down on a 12 year old kid..
