I'll never get tired of the clip where Adams basically disconnects Patrick Beverley's soul from his body.

Good stuff. Basketball tactics is maybe my favorite part of the sport. The players have so much control over themselves and the ball, so there’s consequently so much going on between the offense and defense to outsmart one another.

Nice recap of all these type of plays and players. I’ve been involved with game for most of my life so all of this was just kind of review for me, but it’s still cool to double check and make sure I know/remember and am aware of what is going on out on the court with these kind of terms. Thanks again for another good viddy. Merry Christmas if you celebrate.

"The thing I know the least about NBA is basketball itself". Maaaaan thank you for that. I tried to get into NBA back in MVP DRose year but I didn't catch the bug then. I was scrolling tiktok this year and I saw something about that one NBA player that was suspended because he showed gun on ig live and I decided to check Mr Ja Morant and what he's about, fell in love and now I'm fully enjoying my first NBA season, I bought Ja shirt because as funny as it sounds, him showing that gun, make me fell in love with NBA and then with the game itself. Now I'm trying to figure this game out and why I like it. Your channel is perfect for someone like me to collect really valuable knowledge, learn something about history and to understand every part of this entity called NBA. Much love Bro 🤍

It's funny how different stories bring you into different interests. I got hooked into the NBA from listening to Bill Simmons on Marc Maron's podcast. Before that I was a football guy. Glad you're loving the game and learning from these videos, brother!

@@whatslaps I'm still a football guy but that one which is called soccer in US. I don't know about American Football team culture but for in soccer you are more of a team fan than player fan. It's more about being the 12th player for you team and watching Popovich being booed by Spurs fans was bizzare for me as a Liverpool supporter. Our manager (Jürgen Klopp) is similar in some ways to Pop in terms of relations with players and being synonymous with his team. He once told the supporters to not chant You'll never walk alone before the end of the game if we are winning because it could motivate opposite team and demotivate our own. Every support listened and no one was protesting or feeling offended unlike in Pop-Kawhi situation. Is it the same in American Football? And do you think it's because of the terminology? "Franchise" instead of "team" or "club" could distance fans from creating a bond with a team. Sorry for such a long comment but I don't really have many friends who are into basketball so I'm collecting these topics as I'm trying to learn more

That's interesting I didn't know that about Liverpool not singing you'll never walk alone when they're winning. that's great. The connection to sports teams isn't as deep emotionally in the United States as it is in England.

What's your favorite play style, for me, since I am a smaller guard, the pick and roll, or the pick and pop is more natural for me, the pick and pop is exactly like the pick and roll, but the screener rolls out to either way to get open

I appreciate the attempt here but I think if you're going to explain basketball terminology and you start with the "pick and roll", it might be better not to start of describing it as "when x person sets a 'pick'". Maybe quickly touching on what a pick, or a screen is instead of just using the term to describe the term.
