I went back to playing guitar thanks to your great review. I've ordered these strings and they are great, Thanks! May I ask what type pickups do you use?
@ShahabTolouieOfficial

Hi there, thank you indeed for your comment and I'm glad this video has been a little help. wish you much luck on your music journey :-) the pickup I use on most of my guitars is made by Shadow. the model is SH-EC22. but they are unfortunately discontinued and I'm always on the hunt for them if I come across one online. it's a combination of under saddle pickup and a built-in microphone with separate volume knobs for each as well as a anti-feeback and the EQ. They're absolutely phenomenal and are amongst the most natural sounding pickups I've ever used and I've used many. Cheers to you

Haven't you tried their Octave Higher Tuning set? It puts your Guitar into a really interesting variation of Nashville Tuning where all 6 Strings are an Octave Higher. Why not the Bass-Cello Set? It's tuned C, G, D, A, E, B but an Octave lower.

Didn't know they had such a set. Interesting ☺️👍 I played a German made Oktavgitarre (octave guitar) which is tuned of course an octave higher than a regular guitar, but it is smaller in size. It'd be amazing to have a regular size guitar tuned an octave higher. I'll give it a try. Thanks for the tip. Cheers ☺️🎸🎶

@@ShahabTolouieOfficial Being able to tune a standard 25.5 in Scale Nylon Guitar up an Octave is going to be a big hit, & if they have the right string gauges to do this on an Acoustic/Electric Guitar then they can make All Octaves E Tuned 12 String Guitar sets.

well the neck length would be a challenge. Actually the short scale octave guitar (Oktavgitarre in German) needed a bit of getting used to, but it felt quite natural after a few minutes. I would start getting into problem around the ninth fret onwards and to the higher notes, since the frets get too close to each other for my liking. but in general the sound is really interesting and I would easily imagine playing one or two pieces on it at concerts

@UCfpi751g_k6eEv_yOm5NNPg This turns your Guitar into an Acoustic Bass VI w/ a 25.5 in Scale. We have the Low and High G Tuning sets (Terz & Baritone at G Standard), Low & High A Tuning sets, the Baritone Tuning set (B Standard) which allows you to play Dave Matthews songs, the D Standard Tuning set which is great for playing Metal, the 5ths Tuning set (CGDAEB), 7 & 8 String sets, as well as 2 types of 10 string sets, one for Bass & Guitar, plus a Diatonic Basses. The 5ths Tuned Set (C, G, D, A, E, B) broadens the range of your Guitar & treats it like a Cello or a Violin allowing you to play music written for Violin, Viola, or Cello.

Did you have to recut and widen the nut slots?
@ShahabTolouieOfficial
2 жыл бұрын
on this particular guitar video, o the first guitar, I had to widen the bridge holes (slightly) for the 5th and 6th strings to pass. for the the nut I just left it sitting on the top. on the solid-body guitar (near the end of the video) luckily they did pass through the holes but the same story with the nut. I ended up customazing another guitar of mine only for these strings which of course needed to widen both ends for the strings to sit properly. Hope it has helped. Cheers

@@ShahabTolouieOfficial Thank you so much for the information. I own an acoustic 4-strings bass guitar whose my luthier assistent adapted from an acoustic guitar Jumbo box. Nowadays a use a set of Savarez for 650 mm string vibrating lenght, but the strings have not the enough tension. Anyway, the sound is beautifully warm as i looked for. I am a FADO musician. What about the tension you have wiTh those Magma strings ? I saw attemptly your video and it seemed to me that the tension must be better than with the Savarez strings. Maybe Magma strings could be a good try to my case. Love your music and it seems to me arabic sounds mixed with Flamenco. Congratulations !.
