Getting mine today, cannot wait to get my hands on this thing. Sick review man, I like the casual approach and the positive things you had to say. One of the better reviews I’ve seen. You in drop e for this ?

Good video my guy - Unfortunately this sub zero 6 doesn't exist any more - however there is a the exact same guitar available and its still from Gear4music but now it says G4M on the headstock instead of Subzero

I own mine for about 9 months now, Installed BKP Blackhawk's and BKP pots, Switchcraft jack and pickup selector, Hipshot opengear locking tuners and a Tonepro's Roller bridge! It's perfect now! only thing left stock is the pickguard and the nut! Gotta say the one i got was amazing out of the box!

Thank you for this... wanting one in the new year and the pickups sound really good considering the price... assumed I would need to/want to upgrade them

I agree, definitely great considering the price. You’re gonna love it!

There is another competitor you forgot: Firefly from Guitar Graden makes a very similar baritone 30" HH. But it's not always in stock. Comes tuned higher than low E, but the scale lets you tune it that low.

I just spent 400 on my squire bass vi .. I like it a lot but I kinda wish I knew about these other options first!

My big deal with these sorts of things, whether is be a 30 scale baritone guitar, or a short scale bass (30") would be the string spacing, and what that would be. I think a short scale bass (6) would have wider string spacing at the nut (and perhaps bridge) than what is considered standard. I prefer (need) wider string spacing. I never really see those specs on the sites selling these (Harley, SubZ, Fender'Squire) etc.

The problem is that gear4music killed Subzero brand, they have very similar g4m brand now, with similar guitars. 3 years ago I've got myself fanfret 8string from subzero, what sold me was wood options and a branding - Subzero, like in mortal combat 😁 Only thing what I've done to guitar is setup and made my own slanted alnico 5 pickups. Three years it's been doing great. Since obsession with loathe wanted to get rouge, but decided to craft my own one, I have some nice wood blanks for this exact thing. What annoys me is size of baritones, my 8string won't fit in any case or gigbag, that is bigger problem with authors one. Thinking about making it headless and with headless design body, what roughly reminds aria jet series baritone guitar, kinda sharper jazzmaster alike body with pointier horns. But at the moment it's in design choosing stage.
