I've said it before and I'll say it again, the Waver is one of my most favorite modules. I use it in almost every patch. Great video. Cheers Václav!

Hi, are the signals clean before shaping when they go into the waver? I see the triangle and saw from the bubblesound are quiet alterated (maybe it's the vco that's like this).

I don't know if is related to what you are saying but I notice when I pass a sound through the shape output the sound is darker compared to the original one. Anyone have notice this thing?

@@spazione I don't (still) own the waver, but I know that many mixers/shapers who present different outputs (entropic doom, etc...) alter the wave, that's common and that's what we look for. But... Are the waves clean in the first place on the waver? Do you have a scope? Could u answer that? I say that cause of course the aim is to distort the signals, but I wondered to put in it VERY good oscillators so I can distort them of course, but they're so good (and expensive) that I want to get the chance to play them clean whith their own sound when I need to also.

Brilliant module, love mine! Off topic briefly, is Dark Matter discontinued??

Nope its not. Still in production. We have a problem with electronic parts like everyone else so production is slower. Also demand is all time high for our modules

Dark Matter is so much fun and multi purposed. As you might see, I just ordered the Waver, and I cannot wait to combine them.

@@bastlinstruments You are most welcome, for sure! I've not played the Waver without the Dark Matter yet, but one really cool patch recipe I've found is plugging just two of the oscillators from the late Telharmonic into the Dark Matter/ Waver combo while modulating it with the LFO from a Gristleizer. As I dial up the LFO into audio rate, the Waver makes the oscillators go "Tick, tick, tick... VROOM!" The original synth sound is completely gone and I'd like to sequence this. So much fun.
