Historical context: Ukrainian national hero Stepan Bandera was one of the greatest criminals of the 20th century. In the years 1943-1946, in today's western Ukraine, the UPA and OUN-B carried out a mass slaughter of Poles, of whom nearly 100,000 died. were murdered. Unlike ghettos or concentration camps, Poles were not murdered in what we call "reasonably humane" ways, such as shooting, etc. Poles: sawed in half, hung from trees, skinned alive, eyes, limbs, heads gouged out, torn apart by horses. There were many more gruesome ways of depriving Poles of their lives. It is worth noting that the UPA also murdered Ukrainians who helped the Polish population. This crime cannot be left unsaid!

In Zellenbau, political prisoners had much better living conditions than other prisoners: they were exempt from roll calls, could receive parcels, had access to newspapers. Bandera's wife, who lived in Berlin, was able to visit her husband and send him parcels with food and clothes every two weeks. According to the Ukrainian historian Vasyl Rasevych, the conditions in which he stayed in the Bandera camp were exceptionally favorable: he had a two-room cell at his disposal - a guest room and a bedroom - all arranged as in a normal apartment - with carpets and paintings, he ate meals in the SS dining room, he did not have to wear camp and was not forced to work. During the day, his cell was not locked and he was allowed contact with his wife and the outside world." ~ Wikipedia

it all started with the fact that the Nazis launched a project to liberate the territory according to the "divide and conquer" strategy, the Nazi soldiers were the first to knock on the Poles and evicted all Poles from their homes, the more dangerous ones they shot on the spot and resettled the same forcibly evicted Ukrainians in their homes Polish insurgent army when they found out, they decided that it was the Ukrainians who drove the Poles out of their homes, that's why they came there and killed the Ukrainians. The Ukrainian rebel army, which found out about it, came to take revenge, and then everything began. The project was called "Himmlerstadt" to create new lands for the superior race to add fuel to the Soviet fire. Most of the bloody fables about the UPA were invented by propagandists. @@kyso4ek_w384First of all Ukraine has erected multiple Statues to Stepan Bandera, Roman Shukhevich, Dmytro Klyachkivsky and Yaroslav Stetsko. Bandera's ideology was of an ethnically pure Ukrainian state where all non Ukrainians would have been purged, this included Poles, jews and Russians. He was very antisemitic. He was Leader of the OUN that collaborated with the nzis in the Ukrainian holocaust, members of OUN also participated in Babi Yar, where thousands where killed, this is also confirmed by survivors like David Ayzemberg. He was imprisoned after his alliance with the Nzis because he declared independence without asking German permission, but lived in comfortable conditions, even being able to communicate with the outside world. During his imprisonment he wrote to Alfred Rosenberg, the Reich Minister for the Occupied Eastern Territories - in his letter, he offered cooperation and stated that Ukrainian nationalists were predisposed to help the Nazis because they had been "formed in a spirit similar to National Socialist ideas". He was freed in 1944 and collaborated with the Nzis until the end of the war when he fled to West Germany. His nzi ideology had these caratheristics already before the start of the war. Roman Shukhevich was a member of the Nachtingall battalion of Nzi germany, later commanded the UPA, responsible of the Galicia-Volhynia massacre of 150k Poles and Jews. In 2016 the Parliament of Poland recongnized the massacre as genocide. He was also posthumousely awarded the highest military decorations. Dmytro Klyachkivsky was a member of the OUN close to Bandera, commander of the UPA and is regarded as one of the initatiors of the Galicia-Volhynia massacre, was his directive, issued in mid-1943, that ordered the extermination of the Polish population across the province. It reads "We should undertake the great action of the liquidation of the Polish element. As the German armies withdraw, we should take advantage of this convenient moment for liquidating the entire male population in the age from 16 up to 60 years. Villages and settlements situated next to the large forests should disappear from the face of the earth." However records show that the majority of victims were women and children. Yaroslav Stetsko, first head of the Ukrainian state. In the Proclamation of the Ukrainian state it says : "The newly formed Ukrainian state will work closely with National-Socialist Germany under the leadership of its leader Adolf Hitler which is forming a new order in Europe and the world" He also said" I insist on the extermination of the Jews and the need to adapt German methods Of exterminating Jews in Ukraine" He was one of the instigators of the Lviv pogroms. Slogans used in those pogroms include "Long live Adolf Hitler and Stepan Bandera - death to the Jews and the Communists." And "Take up your weapons, destroy the enemy: Moscow, the Hungarians, the Jews. Destroy them". The OUN's brutal methods were apparent as the "Decalogue of a Ukrainian nationalist" puts it "You will not hesitate to commit even the greatest crime, if the good of the cause demands it." Bandera and Shukhevich were awarded the title "Hero of Ukraine" by Yuschenko, the title was removed by Yanukovich. It's important to note that the "Nzification" of Ukraine started way before 2014, during Yuschenko's presidency. Many streets, parks, squares, stadiums have been renamed after these people, including a major Boulevard in Kiev, renamed to Bandera street, this road leads to Babi Yar, where thousands of jews died at the hands of Bandera's followers. I genuenly want to know what Bandera did that was good? The answer is nothing. He only brought massacres and death to Ukraine and even betrayed his own nation. There are plenty of Ukrainian people that truly fought for the good of Ukraine and Bandera isn't one of them. Bandera wanted to ethnically cleanse Ukraine. Another example is the renaming of the Ternopil Stadium under Zelensky's presidency to "Bandera and Shukhevich Stadium", there were protests in Poland and Israel, but the Jewish president didn't say a word. Moreover, there is a famous interwiew with Zelensky openly saying that admiring Bandera is actually "cool". General Zaluzhni was also seen posting pictures of himself alongside a portrait of Bandera and a bronze bust of Bandera. The flag of the UPA is red and black, it symbolizes blood and soil. "Blut und boden" is literally Nzi Rhetoric. Nzi battallions like Azov have nzi symbolism on their OFFICIAL insigna, this is different from individual soldiers using patches, they use the black sun and wolfsangel officially. Azov is part of the Ukrainian armed forces, and their projects are state finaced. There are many other Battalions apart from Azov that are famous for their extremism, one of them was the Tornado battallion, which committed so many warcrimes that it was impossibile to hide and was disbanded, although a lot of people have been freed. Azov also operates as an international organization, even organizing terrorist attacks cooridinated with foreign far right groups, one of these attacks was planned in my country and they were fortunately arrested. By the way, if you look at the Military land website, more than half of the Ukrainian formations use the OUN, UPA, or other Nzi symbolism. Other groups like the Pravy sector (Neo Nzi group) Operate as paramilitary governament proxies since their heavy involvment in the Maidan, an example of this is when they broke the easter ceasefire in 2014 and attacked a separatist checkpoint killing 3 civilians in the process. Their importance in the Maidan was aknowledged even by western media outlets like the BBC, and during an interwiew Yevhen Karas, Right Sector leader at the time confirmed that even if they were a minority during the protest, them being armed meant they were the main Force, he later stated that without them "The whole thing would have turned into a gay parade" .They are like the browshirts of the Ukrainian governament. They also recently participated in the crackdown on the Orthodox church. A lot of the Ukrainian governament is made up of historical revisionists, like the ambassador to Germany that was called off because he denied the massacres of the Holocaust in Ukraine. They also make their kids sing "Our father is Bandera" at school. Or people like the Minister of education that said "Ukrainians are genetically inclined towards intellectual activity" On the 18/12/2014 a vote was held by the UN about " Combating glorification of Nazism, neo-Nazism and other practices that contribute to fuelling contemporary forms of racism" Most countries voted yes, only 6 countries voted No, among those were the United States and Ukraine. After maidan, Poroshenko made January 1st a National holiday (Bandera's birthday) and the 14th of October (Creation of the UPA). Every jan 1st in Kiev there are massive parades that honour Bandera. This is also not mentioning the multiple titles Zelensky awarded to Right sectror members and it's leader, Kotsiubailo, or to other groups.

As a pole I think more people should actually read about who Bandera was, while yes many things that are said are true, its miscontruded that he ordered any of the massacres. He was locked in a concentration camp the entire time period of the massacres, he had only come out afterwards. Its also notes he had disagreements with Shukevych about the direction of the UPA. I recommend watching „The borderline Hrubrieszow Operation”, it tells the story of the time the UPA and a smaller polish militant group collaborated to run the soviets out of hrubrieszow, not only that but you hear from both sides one polish and one ukranian. If you have an hour I seriously suggest watching it. That being said Bandera was definetly not a good person but not vastly different than other nationalists at the time.

(Ukrainian: «Батько наш - Бандера, Україна - мати!») is a Ukrainian patriotic song about a mortally wounded Ukrainian rebel and his mourning mother, written sometime before 2019 to a pre-existing folk melody found in the collection "For the freedom of Ukraine" for the song "Sorrowful Lads".

Do not confuse with Balkan stuff, Bandera was a unique person. He was a "fascist" and "Hitler ally", but at the same time he actively fought against the Nazis. He was persecuted by the Nazi authorities and spent most of the war in a German prison, but at that time he committed several "genocides", while actively fighting the Soviets, Poles, Germans and others. If what was written about him was true, then world history did not know analogues😅

Bandera was a terrorist, a sodomite and a sympathizer of Germanic politics. He fits perfectly with the descendants of Germanic chauvinists and their collaborators ruling the EU in the guise of liberal-leftist clowns.

Bandera is the Ukrainian founding father, he is extremely controversial to poles because he committed genocide against poles and the OUN-B, which he led, collaborated with the N*zis. The red and black flag is the color of the Ukrainian flag when doused in blood and thus is associated with war and bloodshed. The flag is not fascist and predates Bandera and fascism itself, variations of it were used by the Makhnovshchina (Ukrainian anarcho-communists) and paintings of it made in the 19th century shown it being used by 16th century cossacks. It was used by the OUN-B as its flag and that is why some people falsely claim it is fascist.
