@@YAMMAS The Vegas production I think tried to make the show more family friendly. Land of the Pig is a great scene, but Brutal so it was cut out. Also Tink does not die. There's a KZitem with highlights from the Dublin show if you want to relive some of the memories.

I missed this show but seeing this performance now I do not care they are both excellent singers but neither have the range timbre or sheer power of Meatloaf or Ellen Foley. Sure it is not east to approach them but I remember going to see Return to the Forbidden Planet they had 3 backup singers each of whom had a solo. The first one knocked it out of the park better then the original the second was better than the first and the last was even better So there is the talent there. I would like to emphasis that neither are bad signers just not up to the quality of the originals

Just my opinion, but nobody should even try to cover this, nobody can come close, not evenly remotely to Meat Loaf, I mean listen to this, which is not bad, then go and listen to original, little more to day or add, you will see what I mean.

That guy is creepy. He would be better as a junkie-crazed Riff Raff in Rocky Horror. He is nothing like the all-American kid that fits the role. Andrew Polec was much better in the role. Andrew looked right and sang right, more rock opera than emo.

I saw Bat Out of Hell on Saturday just gone, and he was actually really great. All the cast were. If I were to compare this video to seeing him live, he seems a bit exhausted here compared to what I saw, which might have affected his performance a bit but I could be wrong. I do agree, I think he’d make a great Riff Raff for sure.

I think he played Strat very well, I liked the rock n roll mannerisms and when seeing him live he's mesmerising, you can't stop watching him and his vocals are phenomenal. Different versions and perspectives are so important in theatre and you can have a preference, Andrew is brilliant too, but there's a reason they were both cast. The role is not fully determined as an all American kid. He has taken it in a different direction, it makes him more mysterious and interesting to Raven and to be honest, in the show the lost have been "frozen" and can't age, so I mean id expect them to act weirdly after that compared to Raven and her family who are normal humans!

Musically I love it..... I just hate the way he sings it, it's so breathy with no diction. And doesn't put the power behind the belt..... I don't want to hate it, I really don't, and the musicians are smashing it..... it's just the vocal..... he sounds bored.
@lisajayne71167

Not at all. It's not meant to sound like Meatloaf. It's a show with a story based off Peter Pan. He plays a fantastic part and his vocal range and delivery is outstanding as well as with the consideration that he is leaping around the stage. I'm a big Meatloaf fan and the show was simply incredible.

Honestly for me Glenn is streets above Andrew in this role. Admittedly I wasn't a fan of this performance (saw it live) then when the tour came to me I somewhat disinterestedly saw it... Yeah I was wrong, it's my new favourite show, Glenn is my new favourite vocalist I've seen live. I've since went back and listened to the original cast recording and for me Andrew is my least favourite part of it.
