To anyone wondering, read 2 Samuel chapters 11 & 12. King David from his roof can see Bathsheba, but she does not see him. The Lord sends Nathan to tell David a parable where a rich man steals a poor man's little lamb. Nathan says to David "thou art the man" meaning David has committed a crime, but "But the thing that David had done displeased the Lord" the Lord never calls Bathsheba anything more than a lamb. If she had sinned The Word would have said it. Furthermore Bathsheba did love her husband. In the parable Nathan describes their relationship as Uriah cares deeply for Bathsheba, and when he dies, Bathsheba mourns him. The only reason she didn't fight David is because he was the King and she may have been afraid for her life and that of Uriah. This video is simply wrong. Aladd646 says “A lot has been "read" into this story. Where does it say that their eyes met? Where does it say that Bathsheba lusted for David?“ You’re right! The Bible DOESN’T SAY ANY OF THIS!!

bruh aint no way a woman going to take a shower naked completely naked and not have a shower curtain or something to cover her.. it does not say that Bathsheba does not see David look.. Then it happened one evening that David arose from his bed and walked on the roof of the king’s house. And from the roof he saw a woman bathing, and the woman was very beautiful to behold. 3 So David sent and inquired about the woman. And someone said, “Is this not [a]Bathsheba, the daughter of [b]Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?” 4 Then David sent messengers, and took her; and she came to him, and he lay with her, for she was cleansed from her impurity; and she returned to her house. 5 And the woman conceived; so she sent and told David, and said, “I am with child.” your forgetting that Bathsheba sleeping with another Man while married and having a husband is still a sin it is "Aldutery" at that. She could have died with honor by David's hands if she refused him.. like that would happen or she could of refused him like a real woman of God would have no matter how beautiful and rich and powerful/famous a man could be.. because the bible mentions David as that, and probably could have had a bigger chance in saving her husbands life than by getting with David. Both the Man and Woman were at fault here its easy to see. : )

I think you missed something. Read the scripture again. Nathan said to David that he "slaughtered the lamb of the poor man"...indicating what he did to Batseba. God did not speak out against Batseba, nor did God punished her, but He did speak out against David. The probability that David forced himself on this girl is very good. People also think that Batseba bathed in the open, "to be seen", but all the mikvehs (bath) were in the open, and this woman went there in the evening. If David stayed with his soldiers, he would not have seen her. Davids prayer that God should forgive his iniquities AND his transgressions makes this scenario even more likely. Psalm 51 The baby died becausecof Davids sin, not because of Batseba's infidelity. She had no choice, David, the King, forced himself on her, and to make things worse, she was forced to marry him otherwise she would have brought shame on her family. Also read what Batseba's dad did to David. That dad was furious and filled with hatred...! Sorry to say, but David was not perfect, David sinned, but was forgiven - just like all of us

I don't believe this is true at at all. (1)the Bible says that she was KNOWINGLY bathing naked in full view of the area of the palace where David took his evening walks(2 Sam. 11:2). She made absolutely no effort to hide her body from his view. (2)verse 4 highlights her culpability where it says that he laid with her. There is no evidence that she wanted to resist his advances. God would not have killed the child that resulted from this affair if she was innocent.

About the disagreement :if a king ask someone to do something against God's will and that person do it, did that person sin against God? Eve was tempted by the serpent she sinned by not obeying God's words and all women are paying the consequences. Adam listen to her sinned he paid the consequences and all humanity. No matter who asks anything from someone, if God says it's wrong then it's wrong, it's either pay the consequences to whoever asked and get the God's blessings or pay the consequences of disobedience.

Your perspective is a man of nature, not of spirit, applying a world concept to a spiritual one. This is a perfect example of how God has mercy and yet doesn't compromise sin or His justice. David clearly as king clearly chose his lustful natural desire over obedience to the known truth of His God whom he loves. Jesus was to be a descendant of this line. We all say the baby is innocent why should they suffer. The child suffers the discretion of the parents. David's adultery, attempted coverup and planned murder violated his position appointed by God's favor. He set himself in direct opposition to the Living God and there's always a price. It is clearly said "The wages of sin is death". True for believers and unbelievers. As believers God eventually turns His face towards us again in mercy. We chastise our children when they do wrong and don't disown them as our children. Not judgemental with ourselves yet judge God. When we have unplanned or undesired babies do we abort their life?!?. Children suffer the discretion and sin of their parents.. even to the 3rd and 4th generations. [Edit: I genuinely wrote this before watching lengthy video. I praise God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit that I didn't discredit the biblical account and was humbly inspired to write it] Please accept Jesus Christ by faith upon hearing the Word of God

David serves as a spiritual lesson to repent deeply God recalls the baby of. David and Bethseba back to heaven as children are a blessing from God. When we Sin our blessings are resended. David repent then God uses him to lead Gods people. God is a merciful God Therefore if we repent of our wrongdoings as David did after the death of his baby Son. As no one on this earth is without SIN we all have access to repent before God It is between God and that person don't interfere in People's choice to ask for forgiveness Do not judge your fellow People it is pleasing to God's ears. God will restore your life again on the right path as he did with David and all his descendants who followed from him. This scripture is a example of God's grace to change your life.

The reason why Ahitophel betrayed David as his closest counselor was because: . He was a Benjamite, thus never really accepted David as king in replacing king Saul. 2 Samuel 9:4. And descendant of Mephibosheth, Saul's son, to whom David showed favor because of his covenant with Jonathan. 9-4-5; 17:27; 16:5-8. . He knew when David sent for her, knowing full well whose wife and daughter she was. 11:3-4, and then proceeded to kill her husband. David may have been ignorant of her relationship with Ahitophel. Maybe he must have also decided this behind his back, so he waited patiently until he could avenge his grand daughter, by colluding with Absalom, and gave a wicked advice to defile David's women. 14:12-16; 15:31; 15:21-23. But God destroyed his counsel thus, he went and hanged himself. 17:23. . He was the father of one of David's mighty men 2 Samuel 23:34.

Hi, 🌷🌷May I share the most important news you will ever hear? God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus Christ(Y'shua Ha' Mashiach) from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. He was put into a tomb for 3 days, and then Abba Father raised Jesus to life and He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must all sincerely receive Jesus to be a true child of God. It says in John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." Will you genuinely believe on Christ Jesus and truly receive Him today, before it is too late?

Sin affects everyone directly or indirectly it was passed down from Adam. Just like a person go behind the wheel after drinking it the person more likely will cause harm to other lives as well. A woman can fornicate in a man she doesn’t know and expect a child. The child can born into a broken home before birth, mother can passed STD to the child, or don’t want child. God will for baby to die we may not understand or agree with God ways. His ways is higher than ours.

I agree with one of the comments above the scripture is clear as is Psalm 51 toy story in second Samuel, king David was entirely responsible for his own sin which he admits in the first Psalm. I’ve always thought well for a long time now that it can give us some comfort in a way that if a great man of God like David can sin, and we’re not talking any old sin we are talking adultery, lies, murder, and a variety of others then it goes to show that we can all sin but God was as merciful to David as he is to us today. Only our mercy is obtained through the blood of Jesus so anyway just stop blaming a woman. Poor woman.😊

What happened to Uriah is sad, but it happened. David sinned against God. And God told him that through Nathan the prophet. David would've probably ended the same way as saul, maybe worse, didn't he respond by genuine deep repentance and asked God to forgive him. Therefore God granted him mercy and forgave him out of Love and grace. Nevertheless, David still had to face the consequences for what he did: his son born from adultery died, what he did was made public, his kingdom was shakened and the sword did not depart from his house. God's love will never compromise his justice. God indeed loved David, but that doesn't mean David could do whatever he wanted. If he did wrong, God had to correct him.

@@JesusSaves383 but it happened…… That isn’t an explanation. It is still a murder. It was a life. It was a man. It was a person. If God is in charge, then he allowed/caused it. Not true. Joseph could have used the same logic, but he kept his integrity and remained faithful to God. Bathsheba should have kept her integrity and honored God. The law commands women in the city to shout out and resist rape or they will be considered complicit. If Bathsheba kept her integrity, it would have forced David to either rape her by force or come to back to his senses. I'm not blaming Bathsheba alone, the sinful act of adultery was consensual between them.

1) David was a peeping Tom! He was trying to watch women bathe, and his castle was set up like this! 2) David was a KING who summoned her. She COULD NOT SAY NO to the king! If she said no she would have been killed. 3) at that time women had NO RIGHTS and NO SAY. She was literally raped by David. 4) David KILLED her husband. When David himself should have been in war. I HATE it when people say she “seduced” David or “made him fall”. So many churches make Bathsheba wrong but it’s all David’s fault. She was a woman with no say over a King and she was raped.

What a boring recital of traditional mystification about the lurid story about Bathsheba! She was an ancient version of Monica Lewinsky, and not some saint in some God’s plan. The murder of Uriah was planned and decided by Bathsheba as Joab, the commander of David’s army designated to implement the murder, understood. Nathan was not some prophet but Bathsheba’s lapdog who organized the palace coup to overthrow the legitimately crowned king Adonijah with Solomon, who was a usurper. As far as the “prophecy” that God would establish David’s kingdom forever because supposedly David “repented” of his sin and crowned Solomon as king, the kingdom was completely ruined by Solomon so that after his death, it has never been reestablished, therefore, through Solomon, God did not promise an eternal kingdom, but an eternal ruin. Any wonder that when the biblical stories are so badly misread, tens of thousands of people are being killed even today?

This is a false story. The Kind David is actually Thutmose III ( Dawud-mose). Bathsheba ( Bath/Beth: girl, Sheba: City Beersheba = The girl from Beersheba) was Sarai the wife of Avram ( Uriah: the Man from Ur). Avram and Sarai have spent time on their journey in Beersheba and the beauty of her has been heard by the pharaoh. Avram was scared to be killed so , he acted like his brother, never told that he was the husband. The pharaoh got married to Sarai and became Sarah(means Queen in Egyptian) and also got pregnant. But, the pharaoh has found out that the Avram was the first husband. So, the pharaoh has banned them from Egypt and gave Sarah a maid named Hager and Avram became Avraham ( father of a multitude: because of two different nations) Sarah got Ishak and Hager got Ishmael. Ishak was also a true heir of Thutmose III, that is why Avraham was ordered by the pharaoh to kill his son for the "burnt offering". Ishak`s son Jacob has bought the "birthright" from Esua for a lentil soup, but Joseph ended in Egypt and became a powerful minister and also the father of Pharaoh Amenhotep III and grandfather of Akhenaton who was the real Moses.

Yet for all of David's manipulation, Urhia dies, A baby who did nothing wrong suffers and dies. Then God just keep blessing David, giving him the idol of his heart ( Bathsheeba the adultress) and kind of rewarding him even if he didn't get to build a temple. It all comes down to what he knit you for. I feel so sorry for Uriah and that baby while God blesses the manipulators because God loved them more....The lesson I learned through this story and seeing it on a small scale on a daily basis around me is intervene in nothing. It does not matter if someone is bleeding out on the side of the road, its Gods will and we do not have the big picture or ability to know who is favored so let it be.

Although it’s not written in the Bible every detail of their relationship. If you are human you can understand why he mentioned eye locking and have relations several times . Human nature.Although Uriah and the baby were innocent it’s Gods justice that must prevail. The resurrection will give them back the life they lost because Jesus became the resurrection and the life to those before and after him. It’s Gods love and mercy that this will happen.

You are misled by your ignorance of Scripture. David's whole family was cursed until the day he and his children died because of his sin with Batsheva. Read the whole story of what happened and learn the truth. God NEVER blesses evil, but true repentance will receive His mercy. Also, Uriah was more devoted to his job than to his young wife, which is why she had no children with him, so he too was not perfect, and there is a Law in Torah that commands a husband must stay home from the military for the first year of his marriage and cheer up his wife and this means to give her children so she is not alone while he stays away for long periods of time. Uriah was a great soldier but this does not prove he was a loving husband and it seems to me that he neglected his wife for his career. As for the baby that died, it devastated David and Batsheva but they understood that all babies who die go into the millennial kingdom of Yeshua to live in His presence for a thousand years until the Great White Throne Judgment, so even though it is very sad the child died, his death is temporary and God is very good and just. Sin is evil and all people are sinners and all people need to repent and seek God's mercy. It is evil to sleep with your neighbor's wife and to cause someone else's death, and it is also evil to neglect your spouse which makes them vulnerable to temptation and to not fulfill your duty of marriage in giving them children. We are all sinners and only God IS holy and just and without fault. Study the Scriptures and stop falsely accusing God of wrongdoing for God cannot do wrong. It is you who is not understanding the Scriptures. As for all who proudly speak evil of King David, YOU are sinning in doing so! God has forgiven David and so must we, and David became a WRITER OF HOLY SCRIPTURE, so who do you think you are? You better watch your accusing tongue for you are speaking evil of a prophet of God Almighty who WILL be in the Kingdom of God. ALL have sinned and those, like David, who have repented are NO LONGER GUILTY. Remember, if YOU have ever looked upon a woman to lust after her, YOU are guilty of adultery and if you have hated your brother in your heart without a cause YOU are guilty of murder and if you cover up YOUR sin, YOU will not receive mercy and if YOU do not forgive others, including David, God will not forgive YOU!!! God did not reveal to the world King David's sin with Batsheva so that we could condemn him and hate upon him, No, God revealed this event to us AT THE REQUEST OF DAVID HIMSELF, who prayed that others will learn from his mistakes and be comforted in knowing there is still hope for all who will repent with a sincere heart. (Read Psalm 51, David's prayer of repentance). Thank God for His mercy that endures forever and thank King David for the beautiful Psalms that inspire faith and hope in the one true God, the God and Father of our Lord and Savior, Yeshua the Messiah of Nazareth, to Him be glory and honor forever and ever, amen!! "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Messiah Yeshua, our Lord." Romans 6:23

Sorry, you are incorrect. You have fallen victim to the "black Hebrew/Israelite" psyops. (Which the z.i..o..n..i..s..t..s) concocted. David was described as "ruddy" in scripture, which means fair skin and reddish cheeked complexion. In the Song f Solomon, Shulamite talks to Solomon about being embarrassed of her sun-darkened skin...Why would she be if they were all dark skinned? And Solomon is. Also described as having skin like alabaster. Moses married a "Cushite" woman after Zipporah died and was chastised by Miriam 4 doing so. But since GOD is not a racist.....HE struck Miriam.with leprosy when she did that. But Moses asked GOD to heal her, even.though she was hateful 2 him. The true descendants of Jakob R known by bl00d, not skin color. And they are white, and brown and black and every shade. They have Rh neg blood....per Genesis 3:15, and Genesis 6:6. And they R only about 10% or less of mankind existing today. And they are all colors...and all over the world. Per Lev 17:11.....
