I love this song but I never played the game growing up. As far as the real life Batmobile, I wonder if the Dodge Viper could have been influenced by the 1989 Batmobile? The thing is so sleek looking and powerful. Just paint it black, tint the windows dark, and it's done. The only thing it lacks is the flames coming out the back. If I remember correctly they took a page from Frank Miller's "Dark Knight Returns" and applied it to Tim Burton's Batman. No more Adam West Batman but darker and more serous.

Maybe you should take a longer time to look at the big picture. I'm not denying higher standards, greater variety and advances in technology mean you'll likely find a good game now easier than then, but this Batman game was good for a start. A lot of games today suffer from streamlining genres to the point where every shooter has the same types of guns (pistol, shotgun, sniper, etc.). And that's not including how updates, microtransactions and especially lootboxes can hold back otherwise good games. Also, music is like graphics in that it's part of the game experience. Batman Arkham games don't have noteworthy tracks beyond adding to atmosphere. That's important too but it's inoffensive at best and boring at worst.
