I recently picked up a Beelink SER5 Ryzen 5600H mini-PC to emulate my retro games with Batocera 36. It has enough power to use the ScaleFX shader while running my games. ScaleFX doesn't have a default shader set in Batocera 36, however. This video explains how to add a custom shader set to Batocera so you can use it with your games. The key is to create the directories and rendering-defaults.yml file for the custom shader set.
Note that as of Batocera 39, the Vulkan ScaleFX shader is now found under /usr/share/batocera/shaders/edge-smoothing/scalefx
