Weihenstephaner is probably the favorite I've had in bottled and shipped to America. In Germany, it was by far Schneider Weisse Original. Perfectly balanced flavorwise and I think freshness makes a huge difference, very vibrant compared to most American hefs.

Chad'z Beer Reviews Well I did not know that, but with myself... I don't really care who makes it, honestly lol. It's still authentic German beer (made in Germany), and has an excellent taste with a very low IBU. I mean I understand that you may not like Budweiser, but I base all of my beer drinking on personal taste preference after experience.

It's a bit tricky judging imported Hefeweizen beers. These should be best consumed fresh in the country of Origin, but you can only use what you've got over there. My personal favorites are Erdinger and Maisel's. Best one is Erdinger Dunkel Hefeweizen.

I wouldn't consider the Braupakt a 10A Weissbier at all. Too Americanized. No German brewery would put Chinook hops in a hefe (or any beer, really). It's a hybrid of an American wheat beer and a hefeweizen. Not really fair to compare that to the traditional german wheats. Schneider was always my favorite hefe, or maybe Weihenstephaner. Paulaner is good too, but a little weak sauce.

I'm not really a Hefe fan, but I did try the Braupakt on tap and thought: Hmm. Tastes like a Hefe. Not surprisingly, but also interestingly, if you try it with other Hefes, the differences come out more. I think I just don't like the style. Although I'd have been interested to see how a Franziskaner would compare to the 3. Cheers!
