what Travis said here quoted best expresses the help these videos offer. I'm a retired professional drummer. Toured playing country. Grew up performing covers from Hendrix to Chicago to James Brown to Journey etc. Recently started playing in church and this worship music while not difficult doesn't follow modern pop music format. I'm still unlocking the code of familiar , common form and song sections. Here's the quote "Same here, it really helps to get a better understanding of the SONG MAP and gets your mind in line with the feel of the beat"

My family is playing this song in a different church next week and I listened to the drums and I was confused on how to play it. Thank you for breaking it up for me man I really appreciate it as a church drummer

@@TimothyCincala Yeah awesome. I have just noticed as im getting into church drumming and playing to a click its very hard to find tutorials with a click so you get that extra practice and get to hear what it sounds like. Just something i was thinking would be awesome.

So good ... all your videos so helpful. Love seeing you use paradiddles to better around the kit, or grab that extra note on a floor tom enabling strong backbeat on snare. I'm a drum teacher and often reference your videos for myself or for students. Thank you

I bought the tutorial and Downloaded it- but don’t know where it downloaded to..?? I clicked on the link after purchase and read the sheet music, however when I went to hit “back” so I could watch the video part- it was gone and I was back in the main KZitem video where I purchased it the first time... 🙈😬

Why are we holding the left stick like that?
@mikecassity9563

Do you use a tune bot? If you do, what are your tuning numbers? If not, how do you get your 16” floor Tom and snare that low without sacrificing tone or resonance

Ive been curious - why do you hold your left stick in reverse?
@TimothyCincala
3 жыл бұрын
Great question. It helps to get a phatter sound out of the snare. Because the bud of the stick is heavier, the attack is bigger.
