Am a retired combat specialist. Am a bit older than a few of you. Try to remember that respect of your comrades in arms is earned: worked with many pohm, aussie, kiwi, canuck, yanks, et cetera. All earned my respect. Even the fellas we were up against deserve respect. Only, because they were willing to put it on the line for what they believed, hey?

But not the Indians, the Ghurkha's, the Jamaicans, the Africans. Do they not get a mention just because they weren't white?

If you watch The Lighthorsemen as well you will discover that Shane Briant managed to fight WW1 on both sides

I first saw Shane Briant in the fantasy movie, " Hawk the slayer ". He was Drago, son of Voltan the dark one! Who was played by Jack Palance. Great movie!!

If anyone bothers to look you can see Paul Hogan wearing a badge which is called the rising sun - Standard issue to all Australian servicemen and the officer is wearing the badge of the Royal Fusiliers - You can see the Prince of Wales Plume

You sure? Artillery was in use in Europe in the 1400s, in China from about the 1200s.

@wisetrucker yeah. A good navy is about it to your former big empire. Defeating wooden chinese junks, and with your last real total naval victorious under Nelson's days lol/

Taranto, Matapan, River Plate, have you heard of these? And your ignorance is shown by what the navy did to Napoleon's fleet near Egypt. And I support France in all things, but don't tell lies just because your education is lacking.
