Australian wagyu is not true wagyu but a robbery of japanese culture. It should not be called Wagyu but instead be called Wagus because that is what it is, wagyu and angus beef

BMS 12 A5 is unbelievable and there is nothing better. It has ruined USDA Prime for me for life

I'm Australian and I haven't ever tried a Japanese Wagyu - I have had numerous Aussie Wagyu though. They are really tender and have a nice taste though I have to share it with my partner as it is still a rich cut of steak.

Try some A5 BMS 12 to experience true richness. But the wife and I both have no trouble eating a lot of it. 3/4 pound a piece is just about right.

You can not compare between Australian and Japanese Kuroge Wagyu. Because American and Australian beefs are hybrid between Angus and Japanese Kuroge wagyu.
