I really love this series (so much that I think I have all of the titles). I agree on the rulebook layout that could be just a bit better organized, in order to highlight some relevant rules that might remain hidden. Also, I'd really appreciate just a couple of pages more of a small "playbook" explaining even very briefly the historical contents of each card: this because this combined system is so effective in portrarying such interesting non-linear aspects influencing the battle, that they deserve a greater description also for narrative purposes.

Thank you for the review. I am covering a number of The Historical Game Company games on my channel this year (American Revolutionary War in the West), but I hope to also fit this game in by the end of the year.

Nice review! I've never heard of this company before and I see that they do a Battle of Yorktown game as well as a Battle of Quebec game. I must get those now! I'm glad to see that I'm not alone in enjoying smaller foot print games that are rich in history but managable on time. Please cover more of these games as content for them seems to be rather lacking on YT.

Good to see a game from a publisher that doesn't often get attention receiving that as well as praise. Thank you.

Ordered the game based on your review. Looks to be a lot of fun for the price.

I am curious at how you store the game (keep the ziplock? design a box? join a document organizer?) and specifically the counters (all loose in the ziplock? smaller zip? several zips? united in a separator tray with other games? create a carton or origami 'matchbox'?). Thanks for the info and the enthusiasm.

It looks like both sides might be able to win in this one, that's been an issue with St. Louis and Fort Jefferson so far.
