These are some of the moments while playing Battlefield when I happen to record what triggered someone to make hackusations, rage or say something funny in chat. Also among those chat reactions, "aimbots and wallhacks men" makes it sound like he is addressing the a group of soldiers on the dangers found within the Battlefield :P
The Battlefield Portal thing looks pretty interesting but I'm worried people are going to confuse it with real custom servers like from BF4, BF3, BC2 or servers you'd rent and have control to live information. I only heard mention of simple commands like what was given to BF1 and BF5 servers so it seems like just an evolution of on the fly server generation based on game configuration files you edit yourself. Also I haven't seen or heard much regarding limitations. Like for example is it one server per person or copy of the game? Does that mean if a there are 100,000 players could they all create a custom server/game via the Portal? What magical infrastructure in the world exists that can handle the kind of load this will generate at launch? I haven't even touched on the process intensive things you could create with a custom game putting even more load on the server clusters they are hosted on. Like server side water in BF4 lagging all other server instances on the same server, what kind of processing power infrastructure would handle a couple dozen servers setup with 64 jets vs 64 jets filled with ai ( which is even more load on the server )?
Like the 128 player stuff I discussed in previous video descriptions I'm skeptical on this one. The Portal thing sounds great, especially for content creators and streamers. It's missing a few things for comp so it's going to be like the BF1/BF5 comp people tried to make happen.
