The Third Succession War was a time of technological stagnation for most of it, a slog of low-intensity conflicts and raids from the major players while the mercenaries made their money from it. But then the 31st century started, and people were like "What if we started building things again?"
It started with the Merlin in the Outworlds Alliance, followed closely by the Wolf's Dragoon Marauder II. On its heel came Doc Banzai's Hatchetman, the Capellan Raven and Cataphract, all new designs, some of them with new roles and new concepts being tried. A renaissance came before the Gray Death Legion's Helm Data Core changed the game forever.
