You know, since I’ve been more concerned about Zelda’s safety regarding taking on Ganon and Sephiroth, but now with Mewtwo… I don’t recommend him taking on Ganondorf one-on-one… Think about what happened with Midna in TP when she chose to teleport Link and Zelda to safety when she used the Fused Shadows to strip Ganon off from his “headgod” form, blowing up Hyrule Castle in the process. Only HE made it out, Midna nowhere to be found, but he only obtained her helmet and crushed it, and all of Midna’s efforts at that point give Link and Zelda the chance to finish Ganondorf off… PERMANENTLY! (Contrary to popular belief that she”died” and somehow “revived” by the light spirits thinking Midna was being overconfident… No really, who came up with that plot point when the event remained ambiguous?)

Mewtwo was never truly evil, poor thing didn't stand a chance against the true king of darkness 😭

@stompsalot Strangely enough… Both were created… Mewtwo was born from the genes of a seemingly extinct Pokémon, created and genetically modified to be the strongest Pokémon around… Ganondorf became the host of Demise’s hatred… Born by the occult rituals conducted by Twinrova, whose sick twisted minds have been tainted evil to recreate the Demon King. Their mastery of witchcraft made it possible for Ganondorf to be born unnaturally. By Gerudo law, he is to become their king. His very existence prior to his treachery is a tragic one. Raised in the flames of war. Every day and night, the hostilities he faces are endless. All it took was a single gaze upon the lush lifestyle of the Gerudo’s neighbor, Hyrule, to make him despise the gods for the life he was brought upon as opposed to the peace Hyrule has. Cursing his own fate, he desired the weak to die off to make room for the strong… But above all else… he wanted power over all of existence. That was where his goal to obtain the Triforce was set in motion. Comparing Mewtwo and Ganondorf… there is just little to no comparison. Mewtwo was a troubled soul with a hesitant heart, not knowing why he was born and what resolve he can find. Ganondorf had always been a dangerous figure with no regard for life. He would murder all who dare to oppose him. And as Demise’s incarnation, there’s no better way to describe his wickedness. Everything he does is irredeemable. Mewtwo confused his power with anger and resentment. Ganon never confused himself for anything but pleasure for suffering and agony.

I absolutely 💯 remember that scene and it's very dramatic but totally nessacary music when he crushed the helmet! TP is a very good underrated game 🎮 it's a bit of a mix of ocarina, majora, and a little of its own game all in one. Great sorry, it's got some darkness, and thinking about it makes you wanna replay it.

Speaking of Wind Waker music in the background… (and some spoilers for another game too…) I don’t ship fictional characters together… with one sole exception. Toon Link and Hat Kid. If it was up to Toon Link being the protective swordsman he is, he would have been the solution to most of Hat Kid’s problems tenfold. If you’ve ever played A Hat In Time and downloaded the Nyakuza Metro chapter, you’ll notice right off the bat (no pun intended) Hat Kid becomes scared $h!£less just by the mere sight of the Empress, the chapter’s antagonist. However, if you’ve also seen how the chapter “ends”… I kept on asking myself, “What was the point in the “We’ll meet again” dialogue?” Doesn’t Hat Kid just get away scot free by the game’s end anyway? Furthermore, how DID the chapter tie in with the story anyway? What was the point? Sorry, it just bothers me that A Hat In Time has some questionable narrative structure flaws… The base game was just fine, but DLCs have scratching my head. If you have a chance to play it standalone and then play the DLCs chapters, you’ll be finding yourself in a similar state of confusion. Bottom line, if I was to conclude the Empress’s treachery arc, I’d have Toon Link finish her off in a one-on-one fight, then brutally waste her (off screen) with his Skull Hammer, saving Hat Kid’s life from impending revenge.

Now THAT’S the Demon King Ganon I know and fear! Not sum beefed-up demon shogun who got this measly stone he stole that gave him the god-boost power-up that makes the Triforce of Power a joke by comparison… that enabled his hatred and malice manifest and materialize into sum mindless beast that wasted an entire kingdom while his consciousness is trying to escape the seal placed upon him by a goat god… No, really… A demonic incursion, a calamity sealed, broken free, resealed more times than anybody can count, caught off guard by an army of autonomous robots + magic-fueled colossi + a doglike hero with the one sword to destroy it + a princess with the worst outfit for combat possible, sealed for seemingly OVER 9,000!… years… and 900 more, only to come back much more successful and destructive than the first few times, laid waste to the kingdom that opposed it by turning all of its greatest weapons against them, only to be sealed by a whiny princess (to her credit, DID go through the worst hell…) with a fake British accent for a hundred years, only to be wasted… and sealed AGAIN for the upteenth frickin’ time!!!… AND THEN, the demon shogun comes back to do what he does best… Bringing in more baddies, having phantom imposing as the whiny princess, framing her for the dastardly deeds done throughout the attempted-to-rebuild kingdom… All of this madness because of one stone made by goat gods that he stole from the “first” queen… by going full-blown Sephiroth on her… I guess Nintendo wanted to get even with Square Enix for their “betrayal” back in the N64 era… (yes, it was still Square Soft at the time…) And nowadays, either fans are betraying Square Enix or Square Enix is betraying fans because… reasons. Unfortunately, that is the sad reality we’re seeing… with most corporate giants… But really, how does one goat stone make the Triforce a joke? And why can’t the other goat stones do jack $h!£ against him? And all they would’ve needed are 6 NEAR-BROKEN ROYAL GAURD CLAYMORES WITH INCREASED ATTACK POWER FUSED WITH GIBDO BONES TO MAKE HIM LOSE HIS $H!£! No joke! (Someone called MisterSword did that!)

He is without a doubt one of the most menacing beings to terrorize the landscape. I'm thinking a few more thousand years he will figure out true immortality and never will even be sealed away again. Link and Zelda gna have to really prepare to stop him before he becomes the potential black hole he's capable of becoming! 🕳 💪🏻

@HesBunz Except when he actually dies in one reality or another… depending on which one you’re attached to. He died crying like the Big Chungus he was and turned to stone in Wind Waker, he dies losing the Triforce of Power in Twilight Princess (and in the most badass way possible), and he dies as the Demon Dragon in Tears of the Kingdom. However, one series of a certain continuity shows him keep coming back no matter how many times he’s been beaten… That’s where he reaches Bowser level of persistence.

@TomMooreT2S the wind waker death was by far and away the most unexpected and brutal ganin death. That kid animated link took the rage of 1,000 orphaned children when he decided to plunge the blade into him. And the strength of ganin to stay alive momentarily and speak before he succumbed. BRUTAL

@HesBunz Definitely brutal. I prefer how he went down in TP. Feeling the Master Sword plunge through the wound he had since his execution, screaming in agony with the untold number of millennia’s worth of sleeping Master Sword power (bc OOT Link was sent back to before he ever pulls it out, and the sword still slept since Demise was eradicated) poured into him, he gets up thinking he’ll have another shot at it, only to lose the Triforce of Pain permanently, after catching a vision of a resurrecting Zant having his head snapped, Ganondorf succumbed to his wounds and dies… standing still… meeting his end as the criminal he was remembered as. Even more impactful is when you see Zelda lowering her head in sorrow for the life he had; even though Ganon wronged her, she makes this “his misery in the mortal world is finally over, may the gods have mercy on his soul” moment.
