Harry never understood why people cried for her when they didn’t know her. She was his mother and yes she was. But she was more than just a mother, a princess, an activist. No, she was a goddess who came down to earth and gifted all of us her light and warmth. She was genuine, sweet, selfless, passionate and otherworldly. She changed the world during her brief life and that is what’s painful. You don’t have to know her to understand what kind of person she was.

I was beginning 4th grade when this tragedy occurred and I was too young to understand the impact she left not only in the Royal Family, but throughout the world too. I'm 33 now, And after all these years, I now understand how much she meant to everyone and the thousands, if not millions of lives she touched. I'm from NYC, I wished that I could've met her in person back when I was a kid. That would've been really touching.

it was and always will be so sad when such a young mum dies, but all those people who were wailing (with some even screaming) such was their grief (but which only happened when a camera was conveniently on them) should be ashamed of themselves.their distress was and is so insincere and i honestly believe that only william and harrys heartbreak was (and is)genuine.she was not ours, she was theirs.the way people always seemed to be most upset when in front of a camera is NOT a sign of how much she was loved but if anything a sign of disrespect as her death is used as a way for people to get their own 15 minutes of fame.pathetic, truly pathetic-r.i.p. diana.

Just because he's not crying doesn't mean he's not sad. Ever heard of shock? Lots of people go numb in grief. He was no saint I know and did wrong by her but he didn't kill her. He still cared for her. Relationships are complicated.

@@anthonynewsome i agree with you but i believe it wasn't just the british media but issues with the family that caused harry and meghan to leave. the royal family didn't treat diana right and when they did the same to his wife, enough was enough and they got the hell out of there. he protected his wife in a way that his mother wasn't protected.

I still wonder if Charles felt more sadness or more relief when he heard the news of her passing. I do not consider him a monster, sometimes I even like him but still, he was old enough to know better and to not "sacrifice" an innocent young girl for his ambition to become King.

@Andy Don Harry is Charles's son, you can see it now he's getting older, just look, he has his father's eyes and grandmother's eyes. Diana only did the same after her husband told her he didn't love her, he loved Camilla and was still seeing her, he also told her this on their honeymoon. He spent some time with Camilla on his wedding eve night and Camilla allowed it. Only one person loved the other, Diana, she gave up everything to marry him. Let's hope it doesn't happen to you.... Put yourself in Diana's shoes, married to a man who didn't love her and for all the world see....
